It’s overall maturity level and world experience.
Something strange is going on where people are acting less and less mature for their age than in previous generations. Adults are acting like kids - kids are acting like younger kids - etc. Also, masculinity is toxic and assuming responsibility for your actions is a bigoted and racist concept.
To make matters worse, I’m sure that dues have kept up with inflation so these are probably Uber rich/debt slaves whose parents are the most irresponsible self absorbed among us. Keeping their profile updated is the most substantial work these kids have ever performed. Their girlfriends are probably equally worthless and have ground them down to be either gender neutral or date rapists.
It’s a miracle they can even find the stadium much less act somewhat respectively.

The problem with this theory is that deeprig still voluntarily goes to phish concerts. Not to chaperone his kids there, but to actually pay money to go surround himself with the most hilarious spastic moronic idiots you will find gathered anywhere on earth. On purpose. And without passing judgment.
The problem with your theory is that you assume Phish shows in 2018 are still mostly attended by young dirty hippie jackasses. Today, the parking lot is full of Toyota Highlanders and Land Rovers with child seats in the back, owned by well-to-do 40-something taxpaying contributors to society having a drunken night of nostalgia.
If you are looking for "the most hilarious spastic moronic idiots you will find gathered anywhere on earth" you need to check into the DJ scene the kids are into these days. Those kids make the Phish hippies look like white-wigged aristocrats sitting around the parlor listening to young Elizabeth play Eine Kleine Nachtmusik on the harpsicord.

This is true. Those kids test the limits of how long someone can survive while subsisting only on well vodkas and molly.

Molly is the only thing I can imagine that would make an EDM show even somewhat halfway tolerable. But then I thought, if I'm on molly there's probably 1000 other things I'd rather do instead then listen to what basically sounds like busy hour at the local industrial plant. Even with other things that have strong drug correlations like phish/wsp shows, you can at least see how someone could enjoy the music, or listen to it sober in their car or have it put them in a good mood. I don't see how anyone could listen to EDM shite sober.

I think a lot of people just go to be around other people who do a lot of molly. It's not for me.

I was in groups like that years ago but again we would go do regular fun stuff..just on molly. It almost seems like punishment to have to be at an edm show. Awful.

Yeah. Get with the times, Gramps.
But for real, whoever brought up the culture of "one-upping" each other hit the nail on the head. Every fraternity is constantly trying to seem the coolest and toughest. The cameras are always out and people are trying to get on Old Row or TFM's instagram/twitter posts. It is very idiotic, especially from the outside looking in, but it's just another way to get attention and have fun.

I noticed the same thing Saturday night at the Braves game. There were six million little punk assed millennial bastards running amuck as if they had drank their first gotdam beer or something. fricking amateurs.
I'm 41 by the way. So yes its the whole getting older thing.
Don Henley was much more poetic.......

These are the same people who bring their kids to the breweries. I wish that would stop. It's a bar. Don't bring your kids to the bar.

I get youtube with my internet subscription. So, don't try and tell me moronic idiots aren't still doing hilarious spasm dances at phish shows now. I've seen it. Doesn't matter how old they are.

8000 at a show, 174 jackfricks in attendance making youtube hits.
Smokem if ya got’em.

So are we as UGA fans not open to new fans? Do we not want more people to embrace the UGA brand?
Hell no. Have you been living under a rock or something?
Have a look at Nashville, Austin, Charleston, or atlanta, etc, or better yet..... Belgium, Sweden, Germany, or Italy, etc. and note the vandal hordes of parasitic locusts that are invading degrading and erasing traditions and cultures at alarming rates.
There's nothing I can do to stop the commie destruction of this country or this state, but I'll be damned if I'm going to just sit by and watch the Georgia program get watered down, degraded, and douchbagified by outsider transplant bandwagoner schlub invaders. Atlantans and national-championship-appearance-bandwagoners are no different than the current muslim cavemen invaders of Europe, dude. Probably worse, actually.

Apparently it’s “Frat” now to wear jerseys. 10 years ago that was unacceptable behavior. My how the times have changed. We didn’t have fraternities at ABAC... ok well not real ones anyways ...but most of my friends were in them at the bigger schools and I was around it every weekend getting the hell out of tifton.

Fewer rapes and suicide bombings with the Atlanta/bandwagon set, though. And only a small portion have had carnal knowledge of a goat and/or camel.

Frat boys have always been dumb asses. In the late 60s my roommate paid dues for the privilege to shine other guys shoes and to wash other guys cars. While he was off washing cars I was with his girlfriend. Every year peer pressure leads a few young pledges drink themselves to death and improve the gene pool.
There is something weird about closely knit groups that causes every member to take the lead from whichever person is the stupidest of the craziness.

Disagree. They're raping and suicide-bombing our dignity already just by their presence. Physical rapes and explosions come later.
I'm glad you agree though. This is crazy. If it's a tragedy for one noble dignified culture to get invaded and replaced by an inferior and radically different one in Europe as everyone agrees. Then it's a tragedy for every culture that suffers the same fate. Doesn't matter if it's goat and/or child rapists in Europe or northern goons and bandwagoners doing the same here in Georgia.

Perfect drinking attire imo because you can’t stain them and you don’t care if they do get stained. Don’t wanna stain/tear any clothes of semi-importance while inebriated.
If given the choice between the attire of today or the attire of 10-15 years ago, 2018 runs away in a landslide.
