I watched some film on the Cain kid and he can shoot outside and drives well. Not sure about his defense, but he seems very quick and agile and played against a lot of elite talent.

He’s back at it.

Got Noah Thomason from Niagara who averaged 19 ppg last year on 50% shooting and 38% from 3.

Eta: diddly beat me to it

This is a major piece. We have a damn good looking roster at every position. Unforutantley the rest of the SEC is good too and always recruits well, but just looking only at ourselves we are in really good shape. Maybe the best 1-10 roster we've had in a while.

Yea, I’m really excited about this off-season. Doing it all with an arena that was literally falling down around him.

Now, let’s see if he can actually coach now ;)

Juice Holt transferred yesterday so we have an extra spot

Filled it with RJ Sunahara.

6-8, 210 Forward
D2 POTY at Nova Southeastern
Averaged 19 PPG & 7 RPG
Offered by WVU, Notre Dame, & others

I have no clue what kind of success D2 players have in the SEC but if anyone could do it it’s this guy

Could be wrong but seems like a lot of the teams doing well in tourney get guys that stick around versus one and done types.

IMO, a big reason for this is it takes more than a year to adjust to a longer three point line.

HS: 19' 9"
NCAA: 20' 9"
NBA: 23' 9"

Three point shooting has always been a problem for Kentucky under Calipari. I don't think that's a coincidence. That's also a big reason why it takes guys several years to find their footing in the NBA.

Definitely felt that way when Antman was here. A lot of times, seemed to miss the 3 when I felt we really needed it. He shot under 30% at UGA and now is shooting 37%, having gotten better each year since joining the league

Very psyched by all of this. I love watching Georgia sports, but Georgia basketball has been a tough watch for some time now. Would love to see us competitive next season.

I can’t imagine us not being better next year. This roster is built to make a run. Unfortunately, the SEC as a whole will also be pretty tough.

So are there any takes on What does the starting 5 & rotations look like after this makeover?
