Miami's OL isn't playing that bad considering LSU's front is really good. eta: they played worse as the game went along.

The QB is just too inconsistent and they aren't converting 3rd downs, which leads to short punts, which leads to penalties on defense, which leads to LSU pounding them with a short field.

The announcers actually said Miami had a really good Oline

They said the opposite.

Miami has gifted LSU almost 21 points through turnovers and special teams.

They showed a close up of the Oline in one of the early series and complimented them.

All Blackledge has been saying is how it’s not good. He specifically said he doesn’t believe the U is back yet because of the O line.

Literally feels like I’m watching a 2014-2015 UGA team right now. Defense out of position, blocking assignments fricked up, blitz pickups horribly mangled...no bueno.

Isn't this basically how we lost to Auburn in JH?

dude he hasnt been our coach in three years. wtf does anyone care?

does it feel good to say, "Boy I dont miss those days anymore LOL" as if Richt didnt win close to 150 games and bring us out of the dregs of the 90's.

Also, Kirby is human. I wouldnt keep acting like we're God's gift to football just yet.

Its never as good or as bad as you think. Stay humble, you fricks.

Doesn't exist in the internet age. Neither does logic. Richt was one of the best coaches in UGA history, but plenty of plain idiots are convinced that any dunce can waltz into Athens and win 10 games a year. Just part and parcel of the idiocracy that this country has become.

Just an undisciplined team. Classic CMR

This. Miami had 9 penalties before the 1st half was over.

I think it’s fair for a fan base to compare coaching eras. It’s done at every level of sports. Don’t know why some people get so wiggy about it.

CMR’s teams did have on field and off field discipline issues. He was a very good coach for UGA, but didn’t seem to run a terribly tight ship. I just think that laid back attitude came from his Miami roots.

The most ultimately successful leaders, in my experience, have been the ones who pay careful attention to detail, and are personally disciplined and expect it from everyone around them.

Not a criticism of CMR, he’s a great guy and a very good coach. I just don’t think he cares as much about championships as some other coaches.

Funny how things have changed. I remember when a few wanted Richt gone but the majority thought he was still a great coach. Those people usually brought up the 9-10 win a season avg, yet want to ignore the constant shitting of the bed and not being able to get it up for the big games.

I am glad though that things worked itself out to where we got Kang Kirby, as there is a night and day difference in his approach as a HC to that of Richt.

Also, I wonder how Kirby would have handled the NCAA and its suspensions in regards to AJ Green, and T Gurley. I'm sure Kirby wouldn't have shot ourselves in the foot the same way Richt did.

No, people got tired of mediocrity and the excuses, and that abortion that Miami let run onto the field was a highlight reel of just that.

Also, the dunce we let walk right into UGA after Richt seems like he knows what he’s doing.

I respect Richt but his heart wasn’t into it towards the end. He was paid to win football games, not missionary work.

People expect results - the days of coaches at major programs being able to coach 15-20+ years just because of 1 or 2 good seasons is over.

As the coach of Miami though, I’ll laugh every time he Richts a game up because they deserve that shite.

Most old heads will say erk was the best ever and I wasn't around for those days so I can't realistically debate about it with a ton of conviction which is why I say "top 2".

Erk was really, really good. His biggest strength was motivating. I remember him head butting players wearing helmets and blood running down his face.

Van Gorder was very, very good, too, and then there was Pruitt, who was very good, but hard to get along with.

Apparently Van Gorder just struggled to change his defenses to attack the newer offenses.
