Yeah, nothing personal against the guy, but watching Miami in a big early season ranked showdown reminds me of oh-so many September Saturdays. They are shitting the bed so far.

Miami's punter makes Collin Barber look like Ray Guy.

Weak defense, stupid penalties, shitty special teams. Where have I heard this before?

Announcers said something about Miami really only needing some elite OL to compete at the national level... boy if I had a nickel

Miami’s problems are beyond coaching. Their QB has an arm but no one including him knows where his passes are going. LSU just much more talented. I dread when we travel to BR.

As soon as Coach O used up all of his timeouts like 10 minutes into the game, his team started to play with far more discipline and composure than Richt's.

This LSU team is fairly young compared to recent years, and yet there are so many veterans on this Miami team. Where is the fricking leadership?

correct.

In BVG's career here we gave up 30 points a grand total of ONE time in FOUR years...let that sink in please. And that one time was in teh SECCG to the national champs.

Most old heads will say erk was the best ever and I wasn't around for those days so I can't realistically debate about it with a ton of conviction which is why I say "top 2". But Richt went out and plucked BVG from friggin western illinois so to say "Richt could never recognize and hire a really good DC" is fricking retarded.

The announcers actually said Miami had a really good Oline

And 9 of the 34 points LSU scored were from a safety on a bad snap and a pick six. So really, his defense never allowed 30 in a game.

Didn't have to face as many innovative offenses as he would today, but an impressive run nonetheless.
