Anyone but that frick face Gary Danielson...
I thought he was done using the phrase "you just can't teach that" (when it is clearly something that can be taught/coached) in 2015.
Watched the full replay of the SECCG and he hit us with it on that screen-pass from Auburn where we blew it up and they adjusted to make it essentially a swing route.

He actually didn't say that. Go back and listen, he was referring to Bama not playing in the game shouldn't count against them. People took his words out of context and ran with it.

The last time Herbie hung out with us on New Year's Day we hurt his feelings. When we win the Rose Bowl this year we will keep up the tradition.

The context of GD's statement makes it clear that Danielson was saying that Bama is better than OSU and USC. The Auburn loss in the SCECG doesn't mean that the Bama loss to Auburn is a worse loss than it was before the SECCG.
That said, Gary has always been a Bama dick rider.

I used not to mind Gary. He is a really good color guy and has some great insight to most games. The Bama dick riding is just a product of Bama being great for an extended period. He was the same way with Florida during the Tebow years. Lately though he just seems more cocky. Also, the way he acted all indignant about Kirby sending plays into the SEC for review, and his jabs st Georgia in general this season have soured me on him

The way Danielson and Nessler flirt with each other is nauseating.
I thought it would go away after their first couple games together, but it’s actually gotten worse. Don’t necessarily dislike either of them on their own....but put them together and it creates a highly pungent retarded-gayboy chemistry. It’s very bizarre.
