I feel if we can beat Auburn, this will be a good indicator that this team is likely playoff worthy with all things being equal.
If our Oline can hold up against their pass rush and Bowens can pop off, we can win 28-24.
If not, then reverse those scores for Auburn winning.

Ole Miss will be the game that shows if we are playoff worthy.

I agree but beating Auburn at night in Jordan-Hare stadium would be significant.
Auburn has a tough defense which will be a challenge for our developing OL.

Auburn has the shittiest pass defense in the Power 5, according to PFF. Auburn also is one of just a few teams not to allow 24 points in a game. Confusing.

Saw a graphic about their pass defense earlier in the week and agree it is weird.
They have played good teams tough on the road. Kind of an enigma. I don't know what to expect.
Noah Thomas lit them up last year with TAM. Maybe we can get him a catch or two at least. Humphreys has supplanted him it seems. And apparently London has had a great week of practice.
Just hope we are able to establish the run early. Run game plus the RPO wrinkle we showed vs Kentucky and Gunners legs in general may be enough of defense can hang tough and avoid big plays.
How many plays over 20+ yards do you think Bama had against us? I was surprised at the number

A defensive touchdown or a special teams touchdown at some point would be nice. How many have we had in the last 3 seasons? I remember Kris Jones or Chris Cole having one last year, but off hand that's the only one I can remember.

We are due for sure. Zach branch punt return maybe

If we lose to Auburn, winning the Ole Miss game and every other remaining game will be required for us to the make the playoffs. But yah, get your point, Ole Miss is likely a solid playoff team so how we look against them says a lot.

Just play football, block, tackle, make plays, just do your job. I trust Kirby to have them ready to play. Its going to be physical, bloody nose, no fair dodging GATA kind of game.

I wish this was a CBS 3:30 game.

Have you seen the video from yesterday? Someone recorded Kirby on the speakers at practice saying “what the frick are we doing on defense?”

Been thinking on this game for several days now and I just don't think the Dawgs are going to walk away with the W. I hope I'm wrong, and I'll be watching the game. Auburn has a good defense and UGA is inexperienced and banged up along the OL. UGA's defense has looked weak more than it has looked good, and has had a terrible time getting off the field on 3rd down. Auburn by maybe 27-23.

We have better players than Auburn and should win but a road win in Jordan-Hare Stadium is always tough.

A sentiment that has been yelled at many a TV this season throughout the Bulldog nation.

Why the hell do posts like these poll well on here? There are some strange confused "Dawg fans" on this board smh.

Thinking your favorite team might lose a game doesn't make you a bad fan. It is not the same thing as wanting them to lose. It means you're realistic and capable of being honest with yourself.
I didn't think Georgia was going to beat Alabama, but I still love the team and really wanted to be wrong about that prediction.

Well, who the hell would upvote it?
Negativity sure seems to poll well on this board. You'd think that we were Auburn or Florida right now.

Yet another loss to Alabama has a lot of fans not feeling great about the program right now. Having 7 sacks in 5 games has a lot of people not feeling great about the program right now. No one is expecting 2021 levels of dominance again, but falling off a cliff to this extent is rather alarming.
Imagine if the Falcons got swept by the Saints every year for 8 straight seasons. Anything else they did in that stretch (short of winning a Super Bowl) would feel pretty damn hollow.
