We just lost BVG and if Beck goes pro- We would be stupid to not explore some of the proven QBs in the portal market.

Agreed. I think there’s basically zero chance Kirby would go into next season with only Stockton and the freshmen. I don’t think he’s interested in rebuilding years. The roster is too talented for that.

I don’t believe he said he was, but to me I feel like Beck is staying.. if Beck was going why would Vandergriff be entering the portal, he’d easily be QB1.

Brock doesn't leave is Beck isn't staying.
Even if it's about money, there would be a deal for him if QB is going to be open next season.
This is just logic, obviously, with the (also obvious) caveat that my analysis doesn't include inside information.

Antwane Wells (USCe) and Julian Flemming (OSU) entered the portal. There's also Nolan from A&M, who's still in the portal and RJ Oben (DE, Duke).
Should be picking up the Humphries kid from Vandy. Don't know much about him, but he's rated higher than Wells, who's ALL-SEC.

I would assume they’re friends and BVG knows if Beck stays he’s the guy. I don’t see it outside the realm of possibility they talked about it.
If I was Beck I’d let him know which way I was leaning because that means another lost year for BVG and you want him to have success.
