For all of us who missed most of this (thanks to the insufferable amount of commercials on CBS). Gotta imagine this was insane in person...

It was AWESOME but I was a little disappointed they didn't turn Sanford red DURING Krypton/Light up Sanford. Instead they did it after Krypton was done. Still looked amazing but all those cellphone lights amid a red Sanford would have been an even better visual...my two cents.

Pregame was insane. Can't find a good video.
Every starter shown on the big screen, all with their arms crossed and none smiling. National anthem, then the stadium went dark, decibel level reached 110+, 4 F-16s (?) came roaring in with afterburners, smoke starts rising from the new entrance, cellphones lit, velcro banner put up and the decibel level went above 115.
My wife asked me if I was ok. Told her "It's just my allergy's acting up.

It was easily the coolest gameday experience that UGA has put together, in my opinion.

I am curious if ND had a clue what would be going on with lights? I can't imagine trying to communicate with 18 year olds with that distraction going on lol. It had to also make it hard to see the ipads and screens they use also.

I had to turn away near the end because the lights just played with your eyes that much. I couldn’t imagine being on the field trying to listen to your coach with that going on.

I'll say this too. From a TV watching perspective Sanford Stadium is 99.99 percentile in terms of shear beauty.
Yes, places like Bryant-Denny and Kyle Field and on and on get loud, but they all look sterile and industrial and like clones of one another.
A packed Sanford Stadium at night between the hedges is simply a fricking beautiful sight. It just looks perfect.
