Need 4 tickets for UGA vs UAB

Posted by Eldrewo on 9/20/23 at 2:30 pm
Looking to buy 4 tickets for the game this weekend. Trying to take my kids to their first game.
I quit with the one nail at a time method. I started with my right thumb and kept biting the others. Eventually, I didn't even think about biting my thumb nail anymore. Moved on to my right index, left thumb, left index, etc... I only bite my left little finger nail now. Worked well for me but took some time. I found that once they grew out and were strong, I didn't want to bite them anymore. Being able to actually scratch myself was an awesome benefit too! I will probably always bite that last nail though. I had been biting my nails for close to 30 years when I stopped.
No that won't make a difference. Is there a way to PM on here? I can get someone to call you on Monday to discuss
I work for a law firm that handles PI in Athens. I could arrange for you to speak with one of our attorneys if you'd like.

I just got in tonight. I had no trouble with coinbase after I gave up on the app. I signed up for everything and got verified through the mobile site. Maybe try that? Hopefully I didn't jump in at the wrong time! Thanks for all the advice from this thread!
Technically you're agnostic. The only logical stance to take on this issue. Truly intelligent people understand there is no way to prove or disprove God. I consider myself agnostic, but if you forced me to take a stand I'd be an atheist.
Crazy. I took a class with him. He seemed like a really nice guy. If I remember correctly, he ended up getting kicked off the team for academics. Sad
Someone let me know what time the show actually starts and ends tonight. I have Wednesday night tickets, but I need to get everything squared away with my babysitter!

re: Anyone got a FitBit?

My wife suffered from a severe rash from her FitBit after about six weeks of use. The thing literally poisoned her body. It started as a nasty rash on her wrist and eventually spread through her entire body. It caused her to get guttate psoriasis (small reddish scales over her entire body) which took about 6 months to heal. FitBit was less than helpful it trying to identify what exactly caused the issue. They tried to say it was nickle poisoning, but my wife never had a reaction to nickle before or since. They also told us it might be related to the adhesive they used on the product. We spent months going back and forth with them and had to fight for even the smallest bit of information. Eventually, they agreed to a settlement for her medical bills, lost wages, and suffering. I strongly recommend you avoid FitBit or at least do some research into the FitBit rash! I know this was all related to a previous version that was taken off the market, but I would not trust them!

Great. Now, I'll never get my title back

Totally random thread, but he was a DGD! Really enjoyed watching him play while he was at UGA. Supposed to be a great guy too!

where Yoforia was next to Waffle House

I believe that is where Athens Running Company is now located. There is also a vacancy next to the Smoothie King on Lumkpin. Used to be Marble Slab and is now a closed down Tex Mex place (which was terrible!)

This whole thread proves there is a lot more than 1 moron in Georgia's fan base

And at least one moron in Auburn's fan base
Agree for the most part. The whole facilities thing is overblown in my opinion. I've been to practically every home game (90%) for the past thirty years (basically my entire life) and think the facelift on the coliseum was fantastic. Plus, the practice facilities we have are considered very nice compared to other programs. Could the recruiting improve? Sure, but it is way better than it was even a couple of years ago. I truly think the best way to improve the recruiting (besides getting in bed with the AAU programs) is getting the fans more involved. For too long the coliseum has been mostly empty for the majority of the games. Even in successful seasons, the attendance is crap. The big time recruits are literally playing in front of larger crowds during their high school games. Of course, this leads to the chicken or the egg question. I just want people to get excited, especially when there is reason to be excited!

Leslie and Thompkins leaving definitely hurt, but I don't blame them one bit. Cash in your chips when you can. As a matter of fact, I would advise any top five to ten talent in each recruiting class to simply go play overseas for a year and then enter the draft. Make some money, get some culture, see the world. After all, the are all one funny turn of the ankle or knee from losing it all!

Go look at LSU, A&M, MSU, AU's classes.

If you're worried about what LSU, A&M, and MSU are doing, just look at their coaches. None of those guys can coach their way out of a wet paper bag! Plus, there is plenty of shadiness concerning their recruiting. AU has a good coach and great recruiter in Pearl. They are going to have some success in the coming years, and then it will all come crashing down.

I'm not saying they should be, but the football miss comparison doesn't really hold water

I'm not trying to crap on the football program and understand it's an apple to oranges comparison, but they do have misses as well. The point was it is easier to cover those up in the eyes of the fans when you have ~25 new guys coming in each year, whereas basketball has 2-5 new guys coming in each year.

They just aren't guys who take you to the sweet 16, most likely

I respectively disagree. I think with our current construction, if we can stay healthy, we have a legitimate shot of making the sweet 16 next year. Maybe the fans will take notice then. At least I will have the satisfaction of knowing I have been rooting them on through the thick and thin!

Also, thanks for engaging in some discussion about the basketball team! That shows that we are starting the make some strides. In the past, no one would even talk about them!
Meh. Let's see how well any of those programs actually do with those recruits. The football team is landing plenty of big time recruits, and we don't exactly have a lot of championships to show for it. Not to mention those teams (especially Auburn) are on the brink of NCAA disaster at any given moment. Would you rather have a year or two of success followed by probation or sustained success? We already tried the later route, and we see how that worked out! Personally, I don't want to go back to that!
