forced Anthony not to testify
So he could plead the fifth amendment against self-incrimination?
Nobody, not even a lawyer can prevent a defendant from testifying. There is no "forced". Of course that allows the prosecution to ask questions.
I have known a Superior court judge for years. He feels his job has always been to judge on the legal precedents pre-trial through motions from the prosecution and the defense.
Then he said " After the decisions have been mitigated, I let the circus begin". "Sometimes, it becomes a theater of the absurd". The cast has learned their lines, the audience (jury) has been chosen...let the games begin".
I also knew a federal court judge through our gun/skeet/trap club. He was a liberal judge that ruled in school desegregation cases. He liked to tell a story of a defense attorney that objected every time the plaintiff stood to make an argument.
Boy, I like you, you seem smart, but if I have another objection from you, I'm going to have to penalize you".
That dumbass stood up said "I object".
He told the bailiff to cuff him. "Ten days in the county jail".

Wife's cousin started after high school. Worked his arse off with hurricane recovery and even went to Puerto Rico (said the natives slowed the recovery by stealing everything).
Bought a farm at 30yrs old, bought a surplus bucket truck and started a tree service (showed me photos of a black walnut, he sold the wood for thousands) set up some of his employees in the firewood business). He has done well.

He doesn't owe me any money, we've never argued, I have always enjoyed our banter discussing a variety of subjects. I kinda suspected when he went to vodka as his drink of choice.
My best friend (BIL) committed suicide because of the high/low cocaine/alcohol existence.
I felt helpless with my BIL, help me with my friend.

Is there any information about the inmate that stabbed him? Did he go to trial? Was he charged?
If he has a life sentence, he probably doesn't give a shite, therefore IMO, he should be in solitary or executed. Problem solved.

This is crazy.
This is crazy.
Just wondering about Baton Rouge local politics, anything ever happen to these people?
Why would anyone live here with that level of corruption? There are threads on this site raising hell about Somalis.

Starting to see that as well. Also a “kitchen wellness fee.”
Or just tell the bartender to send a 6-pack of PBR to the kitchen.

Athens, Georgia festivals/events. The bicycle criterium is a good time. Also the Georgia Theater is great year round for bands and films.

It was in reference of the media "scoop" and subsequent exploitations about how she died.
An insight into the great depression.

I have skipped the majority of this thread, only to say everybody dies of heart failure.
"Cardiac distress". myocardial infarction, coronary syndrome...
Bottom line, if your heart ain't working, you're dead.

Anyone know where I can find an Oldsmobile Cutlass Brougham with a Landau roof?
I don't know if Will Cover is still around.
I'm not in the market right now, but with a 2002 Tundra with a 2UZ-FE engine that will not die, I watch this father/son youtube videos.
I last used the prior posted TD thread when buying my wife's Subaru Forester. Walked out, played their stupid games, I thought the new salesperson was gonna cry. My wife was pissed. Called me back the next day. I won't deal with them again. I don't need drama buying a car or dealing with salesmen.
She wanted the Subaru because of the visibility. Those windows are huge. My take, it's a little underpowered, but the cornering (AWD) and traction in snow/wet conditions are great. It rates very high in crash tests.
