Shane Beamer's name being thrown around for TE/ST.
Whomever takes that would probably have a role in ST's.

VT's bowl game is 12/26. He is not expected to be retained.

I understand Kirbys need to make this staff his own....I do...,but releasing proven coaches that weren't the problem and picking up hohum bullshite fill ins is what pisses me off...Lily and BMac are great at what they do and are proven recruiters....you damn well know that if they stayed on that they aren't gonna buck the new system and piss on their new coach..

Maybe some of the delay is Kirby getting to know them and figuring out if he wants to keep them.

Maybe....who knows...but I'm sure at one time or the other he recruited against both in some way form or fashion enuff to know that they know they are good at what they do and they ain't gonna bite the hand that feeds them and their families..not like a great coaching position comes open daily

At some point, you're going to have to trust that Kirby knows more than you do. If they are not retained, there will be a reason.

You're gonna piss off half the "experts" posting here. Some of them even attended a football game 20 years ago.

Kirby's forgotten more FB than I'll ever know (same with CMR)...doesn't mean they always make the right choices.
Especially for a guy who's never been a HC before.
