Some were pissed but him speaking the truth about needing help was all about today.

Yes, but just adding better WRs won't fix our offensive mess. It needs a complete overhaul.

It was a great haul today, but there is no evidence that these are better receivers than Robertson, Pickens, and Blaylock. You're right though. Something else has to be fixed, and it starts with Coley and Fromm, if he's even here next year.

The only hope we have for a change is maybe bringing in D'Eriq King.

No, he's been setting up this haul for much longer. Go look at our offer dates on these guys.

I’m saying he was talking to them when he said what he did. He is recruiting every time a mic is in his face. Regardless, talent, if it was an excuse in that room isn’t any longer.

I've never, ever been sold on this guy.

But it definitely won’t hurt.

Have you watched him play a lot? Granted he hasn't been playing against the same caliber of competition as he would at UGA, but he looks like has serious talent.

He throws a great deep ball and has better arm strength than Jake. Completion % in his first year as a starter was pretty good considering how much they pushed the ball down the field. He's elusive as hell, and he throws very well on the run. On top of that he's a gamer who doesn't make many mistakes.

I don't think Fromm is leaving, and I have no idea if King would want to come. If we end up needing a QB, however, King will clearly be the best option by far.

These 1 year rent a QB situations just rarely workout. I remember when Oregon and Chip Kelly made a living off of that. But he brought in athletes that ran a similar offense at their prior school.

1. I don’t think Jake leaves.
2. To think King could come in and learn the offense to run it efficiently is highly suspect.
3. We’ll make the changes needed with whoever is holding the rock—I believe Kirby will.

He's unquestionably a better option than Beck, Stetson or Mathis. 50TD 6int and a 167 QBR speaks for itself.

This is academic, but I don't see how that isn't obvious.

Yeah, those numbers in a QB friendly system. Id rather just take the lumps and give the experience to a freshman where it would actually be of value to us beyond this year. It’s a tough call but Gus was gutsy enough to do at Auburn.

Not doubting his athleticism and ability, just liking big picture. And yes, you could say winning would help the big picture to...and you’d be right.

It’ll all play itself out for people who actually get paid for this.

If we bring a grad transfer QB, I'd bet on Chase Brice before D'Eriq King.

Then you are lucky to be alive if you witnessed Fromm’s trash.

I've seen Beck, and I don't think he sucks. He obviously isn't close to D'Erriq King, though - not right now.

Oklahoma is in the playoff. They redshirted a kid who has looked much better than Beck because they wanted to win this season.

Too many UGA fans suffer from next-year-ism. What's wrong with wanting to win now?

Someone on here said he reminded him of brice Ramsey. Can't remember who but it was someone reasonable, not one of the resident doorknobs.

I cant speak for their opinion of ramsey.

But Brice Ramsey was an option QB in high school who excelled in passing camps because his checkdown was Alvin kamara.

They arent alike at all.
