3rd down efficiency against New Mexico is shocking. Hard to believe they could be 5-5 on 4th down against us if it came to it. But LSU has some crazy number last year.

Hope it’s a good game with the good guys coming out on top!

On the flipside, their strength is passing which looks to be the "weaker link" (relatively speaking) in our defense

Thats what happens when youre behind 35+ points. Teams will have to sling it.

For our defense, it is a testament to our linebackers. We had playmakers in 2017. Not so much in 2018. The question this season is if we have the horses that can shut down an athletic QB who gives the offense an advantage schematically

We could lose to anyone if we’re not ready....or have one if THOSE type games, but if we are ready to play I don’t see us really being challenged until Auburn.

ND had 193 passing yds vs Louisville. Ignore the passing yards vs NM — they’re one of the worst teams in the FBS (ranked #113 out of 130 last year) and expected to finish last in their Mountain West division. Book did not have an epiphany Saturday. Even Florida could beat the Lobos.

No way ND has more passing yards vs GA. No. Way.

Add that to ND’s weak arse run D (outrushed by both their opponents) & the Dawgs run game will grind ND down & absolutely dominate them the second half.

ND, like Florida, is overrated. Both fall in the #15-20 range. And that’ll be what we beat ND by in the least: 15-20.

Book it.

Oh wow, yah, it certainly would seem we can run the ball at at will. Hopefully we play solid d and limit the turnovers.

Stacking the box trying to stop the run could leave it open for Fromm and company to go wild. Honestly id love to see Fromm air it out.

I’d love to see Fromm go big dick mode like the 1st half of the Bama game last year.
