Anyone know where he is going? Is FSU trying to keep him? I’m thinking his offense at UGA with the defense and the talent would be a pretty exciting... although I think Kirby is too loyal and too blinded to part ways with Coley, even if a proven alternative who has a much stronger track record is out there...

What's his track record? Wasn't his dad the one calling the shots at Baylor and I don't remember FSU tearing it up on offense with him.

Regardless of those who want to ‘stop this shite’ there is a lot of reason to look toward a more open, higher potency offense in 2019 college football.

Briles has done some nice things as the OC at Baylor and FAU, Houston and even at FSU, where they have show flashes of brilliance, even with a crap OL.

His offense may look good on the stat sheet but it wouldn't help Fromm grow as a QB and that style of offense wouldn't do our defense any favors when they're rarely sustaining drives.

Should’ve snagged Dan Enos (Bama) at the end of last year. That dude would have helped Jake develop. But no use in crying over spilt milk. frick.

I was surprised Kirby didn't given that was his 1st choice before Chaney when Dan was at Arkansas

Agreed. I was all in on grabbing Enos at the first available opportunity, but not at the cost of Pittman.

And why do you think this? During his 4 years here, which time have you seen him do this?

Because he hasn’t fired him yet? Honestly, what’s the basis for this?

Same here but I think it’s telling Kirby didn’t go after Enos and went for Gran instead. Now if you talk to Canes fans they loath Enos.

I want absolutely nothing to do with anyone who was at Baylor five years ago.

Are we sustaining drives now? Our punter seems to be getting a lot of work this year.

The OC at Baylor had nothing to do with that culture according to any documentation, even if his father did. it hasn’t followed him to any stop since - it would be incredibly short-sited to dismiss the opportunity to innovate due to some baggage from where the guy worked.

That’s like saying you’d never hire someone who worked at Enron or for Uber because of their corporate policy.

Seth Emerson seems to think the same as you, but I think the dude will land at some major school and will most likely do very well.

What has he done other than share a last name with Art Briles? I don't recall Steve Spurrier Jr ever being a hot commodity

I am still at a loss as to why football coaches are involved in these scandals. Sexual assault is strictly the job of the police.
