On a different website. Loyd's of London Insurance is now in place for JT, and he IS our QB. Also offense had best practice in 3 years. Regarding insurance, it was a promise Kirby made to JT's parents. And, Beck will indeed be transferring.

If JT comes in and tears it up we're all going to be pissed he didn't play against Florida. Hopefully, we can make some strides with JT at QB because we're going to need to have a significant improvement in the passing game for week 1 against Clemson next year. I'm happy it looks like Kirby is making the change at QB.

As for Beck, good luck to him but I don't think anyone is surprised.

I mean, not much else makes sense. This makes as much sense as any other rumor that has surfaced.

JT starts 2020 and 21 BVG starts off 2022 with 1 redshirt year under his belt learning the offense.

That's cool. I look forward to seeing JT in action.

Funny everyone thinks of Lloyd's of London as an insurance company. They are actually just savvy risk takers and thing of their own.

They insure the weird stuff. Athletes are probably the most boring.

Other examples: Troy Polamalu insured his hair. Lloyd's also has insured hair, legs, nose, taste buds, smile, and beards.

Why would Beck transfer? He has a shot a playing or even starting this year or next.

Transfer portal has definitely killed college football.

Because by all accounts except Aaron Murray's, Beck is really bad. His senior year stats were no accident.

Who's accounts would those be? I still have a hard time believing he could like it up his junior year and be so bad his senior year.

I know Anthony Dasher went on record saying he didn’t think Beck woujd start in the sec let alone UGA. Not sure I can remember top of mind from others but based on Dashers analysis and the general vibe when you read the room is Beck ain’t gonna be the guy.

Thanks, I just want to make sure it's coming from somewhere legit and not just some message board rumors.

The supporting cast, coaching, and level of opposition can really skew a HS kid’s stats. Can make it more difficult to get a baseline. Throwing simple routes to open guys without a heavy rush can stack up the yards fast. Conversely, poor line play, bad coaching, and poor receivers can make a good QB look pretty average.

Yeah, he didn't exactly "beat around the bush" when he gave this take either

Another wasted scholarship on a guy we apparently mis-evaluated in Beck.

To be honest, from what I saw of BVG, I wasn't really all that intrigued. He has the physical tools but he was having a hard time against Rabun County. He threw three interceptions against them.

BVG is going to need a year to adjust. He's not going to start next year so we better hope JT is what we think he is.

Also, what's the source for the insurance story?

Bc like you said the dumbass transfer portal has given the green light for people to transfer with impunity at the first sign of adversity. If daniels looks good, and knowing he can return next year along with an incoming 5*, beck may just decide he can go elsewhere and have a better shot to actually play.

Careful there, this kind of honest evaluation is not well received in these parts....

But spot on. One more piece of evidence in the pile that is stacking up.....

I’m not impressed with what I have seen from BVG either, but I know I’m in the minority. To be fair to him, one of his 3 ints against Rabun was on the receiver falling down. The other 2 were completely on him. One was a horrible read and the other was him believing his press clippings and thinking he has Brett Fav-ra’s arm.

Rabun game is not really a fair comparison. There was a large talent differential and they had a comparable qb.

I thought BVG on his own made it closer than it probably should have been.

I get that and agree, but JT hasn't even played yet, so why go ahead and put your name in the portal?

Beck could be last man standing this year. who knows.

Now, if he is planning on going to a smaller school, I get it, but not a P5 school. That makes zero sense at this point.

He gave an evaluation. Not a prediction like you've been doing with Kirby. YUUUUGE difference.

I get that. He had a great supporting cast his sophomore and junior year and then he was one of two returning starters on O his senior year. I just seems like if he can perform great his junior year he should be able to replicate that.
