You’d think JTD would post it on his own twitter account if true.

I mean probably but I could also see them waiting until game time when 18 heads out with the 1s. Still, it’s just message board shite.

Don’t see why he would be cleared on a Sunday. If we hear anything this week, IMO it will be Friday or later.

No it isn't.Im sure Courson and the medical staff have specific protocols and standards that have
to be reached for him to get clearance.

It can change from one day to the next.

Not as simple as that. They have metrics that they use to track the process. For example, they can measure flexibility. So it is possible that he didn’t meet it on Saturday but did on Sunday

Kirby was saying he could be cleared at a moments notice 2 weeks ago.

Maybe they are waiting to see something specific on the screenings.

Stet should the one reps and I would split jt 1s and 2s.

If JT is cleared, he needs to start. No flip flopping, just go forward with him. Stetson will be a good backup for us in case JT’s knee issue lingers or the Chinese flu hits him.

Using this logic, he could've been cleared the day after his surgery...because he would've always been cleared a day earlier

You do realize that there is a day when you actually pass all the tests in order to be cleared, right?

They have them in place for a reason. They don't say "Well, he's close, he might pass in the next few days, so lets just let him play today..."

Why is this a conversation? He'll be ready when he's ready. Does anyone really think the team is going to leave him on the shelf if he's ready? That's nonsense.

Until confirmation I'm assuming he won't be cleared by Saturday.

And for the record, even if JT doesn't play I'll have confidence in beating Auburn for one reason:

Monken's second half offense on Saturday was objectively better than the Georgia offense last season, and the Defense was better than last 2019 as well.

Why was JT suites up Saturday?

1) It is possible he was close enough to being cleared that they submitted his name to the 70 man travel roster.

2) They wanted Arkansas to prep for the different QBs

3) Smart used the roster spot to get JT into the team cohesive. A travel game isa pretty unique bonding experience and Im sure UGA does it differently than USC. If the guy is gonna be the starter, you want him on this trip.

Just some things to consider

I believe that the staff would never play Daniels before he is ready. Fifty percent chance he starts Saturday.
