I see three losses as more likely than two or less. My main concerns are at QB, OL and OC. I think we could have trouble with Auburn, Florida and Tech. Alabama is always a threat. Texas will probably be much stronger. Unlike past years, I don't see any one strength that's rock solid.

If you think we have trouble with Tech, might as well throw in the entire SEC schedule. We can obviously have trouble with any team but, last year notwithstanding, Georgia Tech isn't near the top of that probability list.

I don't pay any attention to his show, but I saw a chart with his predictions. I don't know how he gets UGA at 9-3 with Bama and Texas at 10-2. That just doesn't add up

He also has Bama winning the NC.

3 losses isn't a stretch w/ this schedule. I kind of think we split vs Bama/Tx

If both or either were road games, I'd agree with this.

A few things bother me about him. He does the whole business speak thing – if you look at it from a 50,000 foot view will Kirby Smart be able to onboard enough of his new players to create synergy. He also seems to have an inflated sense of self-importance. Overall he pretty much sucks.

We are lucky to have Brooks Austin.

Bingo.

A lot of people say "how can you listen to Uncle Lou?" and I say "How can you listen to Josh Pate?"
Difference is Uncle Lou doesn't take himself seriously while Pate tries to pass himself off as an actual sports journalist.

Ironically, Lou, despite being a total troll, actually gives more meaningful football insight in a 4-5 min halftime troll rant than Pate does in five 10 minute "analysis" videos.

Josh also thinks that Billy Napier is a great coach and that Florida will be a playoff threat this year.

He is either talking out of his arse for clicks or is totally clueless.

100%

All any UGA fan needs on youtube is Brooks Austin and Uncle Lou subs. And the UGA Athletic Association so you can watch all the press conferences and interviews in full and without jibber jabber hot take clickbait commentary.

That’s not far fetched, but how do Texas and Bama get to two losses without UGA beating them, and how does UGA get to three losses with that in mind?

I can't stand either. Lou is a disgrace to the trailer park .....any trailer park, and Pate is a disgrace to secure masculinity. Lou has little class syndrome and Pate has little man syndrome. Both are a disgrace to UGA fandom.

9 and 3 isn't really all that outlandish. We were a whisker away from that last year and have a handful of question marks this season to go along with another difficult schedule.

The way he rapidly blows up and shrinks down he's cycling something systemically. I know I'm not the only one who has notice this.

I count Bama as a loss until we prove we can consistently beat them. They seem to be in our heads much like UF under Spurrier and Meyer.

Josh pate has made a great empire of, as rig said, talking for 30 mins without being committal on really anything and has a bad habit of blowing some up literally every team’s bunghole.

I can't get past Brooks's appropriating the ghetto language. It bothers me when anyone does this. There's something deeply wrong with someone who is so uncomfortable in their own skin they feel inclined to appropriate another culture. Most people grow out of this by early adulthood, not Brooks. He just can't quit trying to be something he's not, and I don't trust people like that.

We seem to have trouble with teams that have very mobile QBs. Milroe, King, and Leonard gave us problems last year. Tech will be a lot better this year, I wouldn’t sleep on them.

Since the start of the 2017 season, 8 seasons, Georgia has two losses against teams that finished outside the AP top 10; #17 Alabama last year and unranked South Carolina in 2019. Every other loss was a top 10 team. Record against non-top 10 teams in those 8 seaons is 82-2. That doesn't mean we've never had competitive games against lower talent teams; it happens to virtually every team every year. But those games don't mean that particular team is a threat to Georgia the next time we meet.

As for Tech being better in 2025, maybe so. A lot better, we'll see. They return 37 scholarship players from 2024 by my count. Georgia returns 54. According to the 247 composite Georgia tech has 12 four and five star players; Georgia has 71. By the end of the season, it's very likely that Georgia will have much better quality depth than Tech. Could we struggle two years in a row, or possibly lose? It's possible, but not likely IMO. That's not really "sleeping" on GT, it's just acknowledging that the odds are strongly in Georgia's favor.

lol you said if we have trouble with Tech we might as well throw the whole sec schedule!?! Well we struggled with them big time last year, and it wouldn’t surprise me if we struggled with them again. Brent Key is desperate to win that game this year, I imagine he will have them ready to play that game.

Dawgs have had a year to stew on little brother sucker punching them. I would guess it's a handy beating this year
