This kid is setting himself up for a serious sophomore slump.

GAs are paid assistants, so he is an "assistant coach."
Presumably the GA was coaching on the side of the scrimmage that benefitted from the INTs, so his jumping and celebrating was an irritant to Manziel but he should not have shoved him. But I'm guessing the HC, the OC, and his fellow players will have adjusted little Johnnys' attitude before spring ball is done. Funny what a few missed blocks by the offensive line can accomplish.

Yes. They're paid and that is their job. Manziel acted like a little bitch.

Haha. Saw this yesterday but didnt feel like arguing with every aggie fan that wanted to defend it. Its definitely a chump move but its happened before and it will happen again.

The real question is whether he will play well enough to back up this type of bitchy attitude. If he plays like he did freshman year, if no one figures to stop him like Tebow, then he will get away with pretty much whatever he wants to. He comes out and plays like shite (like I tend to think he will) and a lot of outrageous behavior probably won't be tolerated.

He must be missing those 2 OT's.

We'll see how well he does this year.

You thought right. Matthews stayed.

Teams may be prepared for his running, but he's still a very good passer with some very good talent to throw to, a RB in Malena to ease the pressure on him, and a coach who has gotten ridiculous production on offense at Oklahoma, Houston, and now aTm. His rush numbers might be down this season but he's still going to be very, very good.

Oline still has some holes to fill and we have seen around here for many years that it doesnt matter how much skill you have at QB/RB/WR, if you arent strong in the trenches, things just arent as easy.

This kid is an over-indulged prick and he isnt handling his "fame" very well.

The coach should have whooped his little monkey arse. Think about a player getting mad and shoving Bear Bryant, Woody Hayes, Vince Dooley or Pat Dye. An arse whoopin would have ensued!!

If any of the above men were jumping up and down like that Grad Assistant was.... with their hat on backwards waving a white towel Trooper-Taylor-style in Manziel's face just after he threw an interception...........then they would have deserved to get shoved too.
