The love and quality of a father is often reflected by the return of love and respect of his children.

You are defining his legacy.

I'm a chaplain in hospice care, so I stand by dying people for a living. A while back, I stood over a 90+ year old fellow who was a devout UGA fan. Its all he ever wanted to talk about. He passed back at the end of last year. I would come to his deathbed, thinking I was going to hear some profound musings on his days gone by or great words of wisdom about life I could carry with me. But right up till the end, and on one of the last days he had where he actually could say coherent words, all I got was... "Son, if we don't do something about those wide receivers dropping passes, we ain't gonna win NO kind of championship!"

All Dawgs go to Heaven...God bless you and your family.

That’s a great story.

Condolences to your family, OP.

had to test whether are not you were an actual woman. The only way to do that on the internet is to be an a-hole and see how they respond.

So sorry for your loss. You were lucky to have a dad that you were close to.

I lost my dad a few years back.
Although the pain eases, I still miss him almost every day.
