I want to keep all the stuff I bring specifically to throw in the lake dry?
I’m confused.

You’re not wrong buddy but apparently over the past 20 years they have cleaned it up.
Honestly I was surprised to learn about all the different species living in the CR.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to eat anything from there but interesting how it’s been cleaned up- much like Boston Harbor.
The people from Beacon Hill going back a few hundred years had bedpans and they would just go dump their crap in the river. Then, in the industrial revolution factories would dump their pollution into the river. I’m actually shocked that it’s been cleaned over time to support the fishery that currently makes their home there.
It’s almost counter intuitive to think that there are bass and crappie in there. My new place is on Beacon Street so the river is literally in my back yard. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I can actually fish in there.

BPS is dead to me. And it makes me sad.
Look at original pic, it says "STARTING AT" and there's a shoulder strap tray bag beside your fagpack. Dont blame BPS for marketing to lower intellectuals and them biting their bait.

Edawg should only be able to participate in an expositionary capacity.
Dont worry he wont be back for a few months, he drops by similar to the way SBJ used to minus the bourbon fueled bans.

Fish-Off Update:
I’ve talked to our sponsors and they’ve agreed to donate one of the retard fishing fanny-packs from OP (in forest green) for Fish-Off.....to be awarded to the chump that comes in last place.
The douche-bag tackle fanny-pack of shame.

What's the plan on scheduling? My March is full for the weekends but I could possibly make something work if we did a Sunday - Sunday type deal. I haven't fished since August, got invited out sac-a-lait fishing today but wife had me tied up.

If Gowder jumped in and won the whole thing, that would be epic. I want it to happen.

You can add me to that bottom shelf... but I'm gonna be down on Jekyll this month so may have to consult with a top shelf pro who will remain nameless.

This has some serious potential. I am in. Hope we can work the dates out and I’m not working.

What day are we doing the fish-off? The weekends of the March 2nd and March 16th, I won’t be able to participate as I will be out of town. I can make the other weekends work, though.

I would like to participate too but am pushing for mid April.
Maybe OP will change title as this thread got hijacked (in a positive way).

Update- I'm out for this weekend. My plans to the lake have been cancelled. JD, pick whatever date you like.

Depending on the date will let you know, but I'm supposed to be heading back down to Jekyll again in March.

Unrelated, but good deal on rod/reel that was shared over on outdoor board...
LINK
$100 total for a ~$100 rod and $130 reel. Some people have reported $20 off $70 coupons as well, but haven't seen any available online.
