I’d also respectfully request that “Spring” be based on my northern climate in Yankee land. Otherwise Spring in the Great State of Georgia would leave me with frozen fishing holes.

This is blasphemy.

Fish Off does not nor never will accommodate such foolish requests. You’ll have to buy an ice auger or take a road trip.

You make a good point but since I’ve moved to Boston and my fishing hole is gonna be the Charles River I am not keen on harvesting food from it. There are large mouth, smallies, and even crappie in there and, as much as I love fried crappie I’m not eating anything that comes out of that river.

PS The locals send their sincere appreciation for Sony and Boss Andrews.

How did I know I was asking the wrong person for this request?

The 2nd is fine with me. Unless you redacted because something changed on your schedule

I’d prefer mid to late March though. That’s been prime the past couple of years.

While good for me, it probably won't have as big a turnout that early. For the sake of the event, im open to other dates. Ill be fishing March 2nd either way.

Full Moon in May or June would be ideal but that is Riboff season.

You are supposed to retort back. Not try to make me feel bad.

Retort back

Not interested in that.
Today is day 144.
I went to a McLean program in central Mass but my insurance would only pay for 2 1/2 weeks there. Not enough time.
I then went to Puerto Rico for an additional 2 1/2 months (to obtain 90 days of sobriety which is a benchmark that was recommended to me by professionals).

I came back to Plymouth County (named for Plymouth Rock) and put my place on the market. I had decided to make some changes and get closer to professionals at McLean Hospital (best in the nation for mental health). I wanted to be closer.
Sold my home in Plymouth to come to Boston.
Bought a 700 square feet one bedroom condo in the Back Bay.

It’s been a transition for sure.
I appreciate the thoughts and prayers from all of y’all. There’s a certain amount of shame involved, unfortunately so maybe I’m too sensitive.

It was great to see Sony score the only TD in the SuperBowl though.

That same shame has made it difficult for me to post here but I do appreciate y’all- couldn’t have done it alone.

My overreaction, no worries. Help me get JD to make it fair.
I need to revert back to hobbies I had as a youngun’. Fishing was one, hence my interest in FO-MFers.

You are approaching this the wrong way. Fair has nothing to do with it.

Just saying, if he runs FOMFers in March while I’m covered in ice then you’ll win while bass are spawning.
If you want to show lil Rig how to beat me at least let my fish thaw out.

June works.
