wonder if Stet had adjusted to the flat field at the Benz and the crown at sanford had him throwing a hair high last weekend? As it pertains to scoring more.

I think Bennett has "getting drafted" on his mind and is throwing harder to try and improve his draft grade. Those throws are sailing a bit.
Last year, he was focused on winning games. He has an opportunity now and I think it is effecting how he plays the game.

Milton definitely doesn't always run behind his pads. He don't look right. He also does misread gaps. Look at the Oregon take again.

Yes
Every running back at UGA has misread gaps.
Milton averaged 6.25 ypr against Oregon to go along with his TD. His long was only 12 (5.42 taking off his best run). He tacked on another 18 yards and and TD through the air.

Without having watched the full game more than once, I'm not worried about him.

(In the voice of Jeff Lebowski) That's interesting! That's effing interesting, man!

But seriously, nice observation. I hadn't thought about that difference in fields.

We have found the new thing to talk about this season.

Bennett had a great QBr and did miss a few passes, but also took good care of the ball. He has 2 TDs running along with 3 passing in less than 6 quarters of play this year, yet averaging over 300 YPG.

I think 2 things have jumped out at me the most so far.

1) he has used his legs very well. Both eluding a rush and in the red zone. The 1 sack on Saturday was bad. But that is next to a half dozen great plays with his legs.

2) he has protected the football. Zero questionable throws in traffic. He had one throw to Delp he may actually want to throw harder (or earlier). But he is making smart decisions with the ball.
