People talk about how elite Tennesucks OL is and how this will be our DL's first real test, blah blah blah. Isn't this also Tennesuck's first real test in loooong time? It swings both ways. People act like our DL is chop liver. They act like they don't go up against this type of talent every day.

In fact, when was the last time they went up against a team this talented? When was the last time they played a ranked team? The last ranked team they played was Bama on Oct. 19 last year. Of course they got crushed.

Since Tennesuck last played a ranked team, we've played 5 top 15 teams: Barn twice, LSU, Baylor, Florida. We went 4-1.

Tennessee aint used to playing this type of game. They're used to playing competition that below them (and sometimes losing in the process). They're used to 'out-talenting' the other team. This 8-game winning streak is a fraud. It's giving them false confidence. But this is precisely what will get them beat (other than the fact that we're the better team).

Tennessee is not used to getting punched in the mouth. They're not used to playing a physical team. They're not used to having the guy across from them being more talented.

That being said, we certainly need to take them seriously, because as the USuCk game showed us last year, we can be beat if we don't

If we handle our business, Saturday, and don't get caught looking to Tuscaloosa before it's time, Tennessee won't know what hit them.

Ya I mean we have head scratchers every year.

Last year it was USCe and we are probably gonna have one this year. Let's just hope its not against a team like Tenn with momentum. Tenn and UF are blue blood SEC schools with championship histories.

We can't allow them to win these types of games if we are to stay ahaed of them.

There is a lot on the line and the Tenn and UF games are 100% the most important ones on our schedule.

We handled that same OLine well last year. They have Mays out of position.

I think it will be a run heavy game so the clock runs and it is over quickly. Stet' just needs to complete a few moderate to deep passes early to open the run game.

I am sure lardass has a few tricks up his sleeves as well as candy bars and a submarine sandwich.

It was an extraordinary set of circumstances that led to that outcome.Perfect storm for SC.

Not saying that we can't lose to UT but the odds of all those things that went wrong vs SC happening tomorrow are pretty slim.

I am looking for a game similar to the game with Auburn. Tenn thinks they will be able to run the ball, they will have trouble. Guarantano, however you spell his name, does not nearly have the escape ability of Nix. I look for sacks tomorrow. Tenn's D line is pretty good but they have not played a team that can run the ball the way Georgia does.

Georgia wins and covers. A lot of these prognosticators are saying Georgia will win but can't cover.

I've always hated every college team that wears orange. Strangely enough, my old HS team worn green and orange and I liked it.

Albany High School, a HS that no longer exists.

I was a child listening on radio when we won state against Marietta in 1959. AHS beat mighty Valdosta two out of the three years that I was in HS. I was only a spectator.

So then it turned into Moultrie and then Colquit County?

Ray Goff played for Moultrie didn't he?

I was a HS senior in 1967. AHS played Valdosta there and the game was epic. It was freezing cold. The 4th quarter was almost over and there was no score. AHS had a great linebacker named Steve Hudson. In a final act of desperation our coach put Steve Hudson in the backfield and let him tote the ball over and over. Hudson gained 4 or 5 yards almost every play. Hudson drove to a touchdown to end the game. We won 6 to 0.

Steve Hudson signed with Georgia as a linebacker. Out best receiver, Felix Marbury, signed with Georgia also. Both players quit the team before any game was played.

We played Moultry back then but they weren't a good team. We had trouble with Valdosta and with the Columbus Blue Devils.

You youngsters were deprived of a great experience. I got to see Jake Scott's two years at UGA when I was a freshman and sophomore. Scott was my favorite before Gurley and Chubb.
