Accuweather, Weather Underground, NOAA, and Weather.com are all reporting 60-63 degrees, 2-4 inches of rain, and 10-15 mph wind (with higher gusts). They're all in agreement. Check before you leave tomorrow to see if anything's changed.

I'm thinking jeans, long sleeves, jacket (something to take off if I get hot), poncho, and hat. I'm already prepared for everything below my knees to just be soaking wet all day. Soaking wet at 60 degrees with a pretty good breeze and no sun is going to be chilly.

2-4 inches of rain,

over the course of the day that's not really that much, right? So from 3-7 it should just be a light/moderate rain throughout? I can live with that.

That's 2-4 inches on Saturday alone.

Right now it's looking like showers Saturday morning and steady rain from noon on...maybe heavy at times. 2-4 inches of rain is a lot to fall in one day. Not going to be a constant deluge, but it doesn't look like it'll let up much, if at all, the entire game.

Accuweather was predicting less that 2 inches a few hours ago when I looked at it with about .65 inches coming down during game times.

Hopefully it improves a bit more. It's gonna be rainy I just don't want it to be so much rain that our game plan has to change dramatically.

This is fascinating.

Before all of these threads, I had no idea that people were such pussies about rain.

Far out.

Haven't you heard? Alabama football players are immune to rain, so if it does rain on the game then it's over, we are done, program shut down, Sanford stadium sinks to the bottom of the ocean.

Weather channel.com or yahoo.
Luckily my father is eccentric. A few years ago he started freaking out I don't have a rain jacket. I was more concerned with not having a winter coat but for him, it was the rain jacket. So he hounded me for months. I really didn't care but eventually he just got me a really nice one anyway and that thing is absolutely awesome. Now my legs will get wet but the rest of me will be as dry as possible.

From a Washington Post article about RainApocalypse 2015 that everyone is over-reacting about.............

quote:

the heaviest stuff will be coming down right when the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs kick off at 3:30 p.m. EDT, with two to three inches possible. “It could get pretty messy,” he said.

It’s almost certainly going to be worse at Clemson, which plays on a natural-grass field (Georgia has artificial turf). LINK

Seriously, how do you get that fact wrong? He didn't mix up the schools because both have grass. He didn't mix up time periods, because we have never had artificial turf.

Maybe the bozo thinks we play in the dome. Who fed him this garbage...

I'll fix it for him...

It’s almost certainly going to be worse at Clemson, because they play 5 hours later into the storm and will get three times as much fricking rain as Athens.
