The irony is that I’m fairly certain that the background music is from Interstellar!

One thing I did notice in this SEC Inside was a new angle on the interception and overturned DPI. If you look closely, the DB clearly held Arian’s jersey near the right shoulder as he started to turn from his break, disrupting the timing of the route. Even Georgia fans are out there believing it should have not been DPI, but it was DPI and was called correctly on the field.
With all the missed/poor calls in this game and really all year feels a bit like the refs have had it out for us all year.

Sadly, Screech (aka Dustin Diamond) died last year from lung cancer at 44. Non-smoker and all. RIP.

Sore losers play the “if” game. If this and if that. Problem is “if” never happened. Football is a team game. Yea, Harrison went down but so did players for Georgia. That’s why it’s a team game and good teams aren’t monolithic. Yea, Ohio State missed a last second field goal but last I checked the kicker is part of the team. Also, as I’m sure you can remember, “if” (there’s that convenient word again) Georgia had made even one of their two missed field goals, it wouldn’t have mattered.
Ohio State played a fabulous game but Georgia is far in the better team.

Tonight‘s win was the greatest margin of victory in bowl game history.

Per Scott Van Pelt. Amazing….not just in title game history…bowl game history. Crazy!

Not a big fan of the commercial or anything but they aren’t talking about Mary and Joseph going to Bethlehem but fleeing Herod’s order to kill all the male children two or less.

I agree that we got predictable at times and some of the calls (like the Landers end around) were down right stupid but while the Notre Dame defense isn’t overly deep or talented (comparable to ours) they are all juniors and seniors. I think, honestly, Kirby thought we’d be able to play more conservatively at home and get the W easier than we did. I think if he knew what kind of an effort it was going to take he would have done things differently.

“UGA has looked bad versus inferior teams.”
Oh, and being outgained at home against LA Tech isn’t?
LINK
Not saying Georgia has looked pretty in its outings but to say LSU has looked dominant in every game they’ve played is laughable. It’s going to be a good game. Georgia, IMO is the better team but being in Death Valley with injuries and youth could mean anyone’s game.

Meant to up vote, dirtydawg. Dang sausage fingers! The reason I picked protection is because it seems like this year our pass has set up our run more han last year.

I never thought of that one! Lol

I think if we protect Jake Fromm, we win. Think about it, being able to protect him means few, if any, negative yardage plays. When the defense isn’t able to pin us in on obvious running or passing downs we will have a field day. Protecting Fromm ensures that our whole playbook stays on the table. Protect Fromm=win going away. Struggle in protection means it’s anyone’s game, IMO.
I think this point is amplified being that it is as Tiger Stadium and that we have injuries along the offensive line.
Thoughts?

re: Differences between OU and Bama that will doom UGA
Posted by Georgiaman228 on 1/2/18 at 2:30 pm
I think people underestimate the psychological dynamics that play into college football. Alabama just proved their manhood against Clemson. They’ve been looking to this rematch all year. This was their goal, they’re not looking past Georgia but it’s just not the same dynamics. They could not be denied last night. I don’t think the same dynamics exist for this matchup with Georgia. Georgia plays MUCH better as the underdog and I expect that. Do I think UGA will win? I don’t know and if I had to pick (being completely objective) I’d go with the safe bet and pick Alabama and Nick Saban but I would not say it’s a foregone conclusion that we lose. Think UCF and Auburn, Auburn is better, everyone knows it but they lost. We will see but I expect it to be very close. This is a very good Georgia team and it plays into their hand if everyone is picking against them.
Mark Richt, a class act.

I think most would agree the move was needed but I respect the heck out this man. This is a message he sent to a Georgia fan on his death bed while coaching at Miami. I will be a Richt fan for life. Go Dawgs and have a Merry Christmas!

By the way, I was trying to up vote your last reply and it hit down vote, sorry my man! Lol

Well, I was not trying to judge you. Just most people wanting radar detectors are doing it for the wrong reasons. I make mistakes to when I drive and my mode of thinking is that, if it is something I find myself doing from time to time by mistake (or intentionally) then I shouldn't be handing out tickets for it. Some officers don't see it this way and that is wrong. Sometimes mercy (whether on a traffic stop or elsewhere) can administer justice more than writing a citation or taking someone to jail. Hope it works out for you man and you seem like a cool dude too!

I'm glad you owned up to it. And I never said I have never sped before. But using a radar detector as a kindly device to remind you to stop speeding is alittle much if you ask me. The point is to evade radar. Why not just set your cruise control? I am an LEO and I usually give 10 warnings for every ticket I give. I understand people cruise and forget sometimes how fast they are going. If that is 20-30 miles over the speed limit that is alittle much and you might get a ticket. If it's 10-15 over I'll give you a pass and send you on your way. If you are truly trying to change your driving habits (whether that's intentional speeding or not) then a radar detector is not the answer. Not trying to jump on you man. Just being real.

The problem with this post is not that you made a mistake or even that you speed. It's that you obviously got caught and instead of doing the right thing and slowing down a bit you are trying to work over the system by buying something that will help you evade police.

Slowing down to the speed limit cost nothing and will get you to your destination GSP free pretty much everytime. Just saying!

What's crazy is that Pittman will be paid 75,000 more annually than Mike Bobo was being paid as OC. Crazy. I like the way we are raising our game.
