Would you rather play the Rams or the Raiders?

How is this even remotely a question? Do you want to make the playoffs or not?

the easy answer is LSU...

But Bama is likely going to win...and we need to beat them to get that monkey off the back.

We probably can't do that this year...but at some point we have to play and beat Bama straight up.

If we get LSU tho....we win in Atlanta all day every day and twice on Sunday....and get in to the MCFB (Mythical College Football Playoff)

*It's quickly becoming no better to me than the BCS. It needs to be expanded to 8 teams.

LSU of course. The Tigers aren’t 20 points better than UGA. Bama on the other hand is, so I’d rather see a competitive game.

Much better than the BCS or the old bowl system that preceded it IMO. Much greater chance that teams have to play at least one good team at the end of the year to win it all, minimal chance of getting some overrated lightweight as your only opponent. As far as I'm concerned, the playoff era is the first time that college football has had real national champions.

LSU is the obvious choice based upon roster talent, but Bama has a string of tough defenses coming up.

They still have to play Miss State and Auburn after LSU so their offense could be gassed going into the SECCG.

I know some of youse guys think it’s a done win over UK, or you have a sense of false bravado. We’re an overall much better team than the Cats, and should win in the 4th due to depth, but UK is usually a PITA for us. Seems like every time their program has a head of steam, it’s a nail-biter. I think it’ll be close at the beginning of the 4th, and a fairly high-scoring game. I think our depth prevails. 33-28.

I want Bama because I want to beat the best.

I think we pull off the win against LSU rematch, especially in the Mercedes with a home crowd.

If either team scores more than 30, I think it favors us HEAVILY. They don't have a dynamic enough offense for that to be likely for them. Much better chance this is a 24-17 ish sort of game if it's close.

We would still have that chance in the CFB Playoff championship game....if Bama beats LSU, we might have to beat them twice to win it all

If Bama doesn't win the SEC, I hope they don't make the playoffs over a 1 loss P5 conference champ. Maybe they will, but two years in a row of seeing them go without winning the conference would be irritating to me, and I'm a big SEC fan.
