Fields is the only winner in all of this. Fromm will be a grad assistant in a few years and UGA is probably out of the championship talk for two years because of the QB room.

Smart was loyal over logic to Fromm, and it blew up in his face.
There isn’t another coach in the sport that would have been dumb enough to choose Fromm over Fields.

He will be a top 5 pick in next year's draft barring injury. He won and proved he was the better player by an unbelievable margin. Not a single coach in the country pro or college would choose Fromm over Fields today.
