While its understandable that we as fans criticize the coaching staff when things aren't going the way we want, it gets pretty annoying when there are certain posters who create thread after thread criticizing the coaching staff over one damn game, THAT WE WON. We are only 4 games into the season, two of which were cupcake games and its "gonna be a clogged toilet per usual", "When was the last time we schemed-up a defense and created space for a playmaker to do his thing?", " The game plan against Notre Dame was pathetic-BRING BOBO BACK", etc.
Give Coley a fricking chance. If by the middle of the season he doesn't adjust then Kirby will have decisions to make regarding our OC. You negadawgs need to chill out. I dont see you on the sideline with Kirby coaching any games. Next thing you know, you will be calling for Kirby's head so just STFU already and lets wait and see what happens in the next few weeks.

I just don’t think there isn’t anything to open up. We hear every year. We are playing vanilla... for what... and it never comes.
Our game plan is Run the ball (as we should) give it to the best players.
Play great defense and special teams.
And go play action when the opponent loads the box.... and against 124 teams that works... its the other 6 that’s the problem.

and everybody knows that...sometimes to be able to run the ball you have to throw it and loosen the defense. shitty little passes in the flat and screens don't cut it, and they don't take utilize our 6'5 freak of nature. Pickens is an elite WR with size. Look at what Jimbo did with Kelvin Benjamin. That should be our plan with Pickens. Not targeting him but 1-2 times against Notre Dame is stupid.
No one is saying we nee to go to an Air Raid, but this shite of running straight into loaded boxes when we have a great college QB and elite skill players is just wasteful. Plus, that shite will catch up to us on the recruiting trail eventually too. No WR or TE will want to come here when we only throw it 18 times a game.

I’m a big fan of no interceptions and ball control. We did that very well.
As far as Cook goes, I’m sure he is pissed Kirbs gave it to him on the last drive on the jet sweep and that the only Cracker between him and the Tate Center got him in the open before he turned the corner. For a loss.

Sorry... I’m not necessarily saying that’s all we should do.. but it is what KS is comfortable with it appears...I just don’t think there is some secretive offense we aren’t showing... it is what it is.
