Yeah, I remembered, that made it seem even *less* likely that it would be the same. Just curious if people picked partners they thought they would be better than or ones they thought could help carry.

First I wanted Jefferson or Wild Thang as my partner when I saw part I and was pissed I missed picking them taking the cat to the vet. Yes. You get one of his correct game picks (if he gets one right). So, basically those points just go to WG and you lose nothing. And if you end up on chopping block, you can have K9 take your place. Unless you're both on chopping block, of course.
Where your situation differs.... is that if WG puts you on the block to take his place, you can't just turn around and have K9 take your place. You see? A gimp owner can have his gimp take his place, but not if the gimp owner is also a gimp that was put on block for being a gimp. Otherwise, there's exactly zero penalty for you becoming a gimp last week.
