I'm hopeful that the first half was simply a fluke with everyone getting the jitters out. Penalties broke the flow.

No matter what Mathis does the rest of the day, he can end it knowing he didnt throw 4 INTs today against Virginia like Chase Brice has.

This might be good for Mathis. It's the ideal way to work a freshman into the offense. Plus he had a wake-up call to let him know how much work he has to do.

Yep, it's a good way to work in a freshman when your starter is uncertain. Glad he's got the chance to get some reps.

This is just stupid. There is absolutely zero reason to put Stetson back in even if you plan for him to be the starter for the entire year - especially if you plan for him to be the starter for the rest of the year.
