Georgia Tech or Florida State?

Who are you rooting for on Saturday? Personally I am rooting for "neither" and don't have a strong opinion, even though the majority of AARP Dawgs will tell us that Tech will always be our biggest rival and never pull for Tech.
Norvell is the biggest damn dork and Florida State fans are becoming irritating again. Not nearly to 1990s levels yet but still irritating. Would like to see Florida State return to irrelevance and go away for another 15 years.

Nothing good can happen from GT getting good again. Go Noles.
Eventually once CFB has been split up and subdivided and GT ends up in some ivy league conference with Stanford, Vanderbilt, Tulane, others, I might root for them again. But as long as they are in our state and in our "relative" league, frick them. Also remind yourself that Georgia Tech has beaten us more recently than Tennessee has.

I'm well past 55 and I despise the annual Tech - Georgia game. All it does is help GT and hurt UGA. Unfortunately we have lots of fans who value that shoddy "tradition" more than the success of the football program.

I've been a hard core Georgia fan since I stepped foot on campus in 1964. I've also been a donor and season ticket holder since I started making money after graduation. I'm dropping my season tickets this year and donating to the General Fund instead. But, I think the Tech rivalry has gone away. We should drop them and pick a California team for the 12th game. Give fans a vacation in November. I would show up for that.

I am a life long resident of GA.
But I only became a fan of UGA when Richt left FSU to coach UGA. Before that I was all FSU.
I know that will rub some life dawgs the wrong way but it is the way it is.
I followed Richt to GA...been die hard ever since.
So... Go Dawgs and Go Noles.

What's even more strange about this thread is that of all the possible teams...FSU? Like they aren't really a nuisance or a bother like clemson, they're just there. And any UGA fan that was around in the 1990s should always have at least SOME tiny little soft spot for them considering they were the closest thing to kryptonite steve spurrier ever had in his Florida days.
Think about what steve spurrier did at UF to the SEC and nation from 90-01, now imagine if he was EVEN BETTER? He went 5-8-1 against them. If FSU was a scrub back then spurrier likely has several more titles and Flroida is looked at the same way modern day bama is. To root for tech to beat FSU simply because their coach is dorky (which also implies that brent key is some kind of really cool guy worthy of admiration) is just...head scratching.
