Some years back I was on a ladder cleaning my gutters and the ladder slipped back on the concrete driveway. My legs slid down the ladder rungs and peeled the skin on my shins back from ankle to knee. I made it into the house but started going into shock and had to be taken to the ER. Hurt just a bit.

Splints hurt bad enough, and I peeled some skin off fricking up a box jump on a wooden box in high school. Shins hurt like shite. A contusion? frick that noise.
