It wasn’t a bad take. Bennett has zero upside. There’s no play he can make that an average Sun Belt quarterback can’t
Listen, he's proven to be able to move the ball. He threw for quite a bit of yards against Bama. He can run with the ball. He makes mostly good decisions. His problem is physical: he's too short for his release point and that leads to batted passes. That's a far cry from implying he's no better than a Sun Belt QB for us. If he is, that speaks volumes about our lack of play-ready QBs.

JT Daniels threw off his back foot his entire time at USC. Now he’s coming off a knee injury.
Carson Beck is a true freshman who completed less than 50% of his passes in HS last year.
