Microcosm of our first half. Looked like that ball landed out at their 48. Instead it takes a slight left turn and rolls for 5 seconds. And HE’S supposed to be the poor punter of the two.

Yeah, and Fromm overthrew him on a sure fire TD that would see the game 20-14 instead of 20-7. Sooner or later you guys are going to have to stop making excuses for Fromm when he makes a mistake.

Well...apparently there was a lot of truth in Fromm's comments about the freshmen being excited to play but the "older guys, I'm not sure."
Clearly we came out with little interest in this game. And considering that Smart had to bench some starters during the practice week, the Sugar Bowl is apparently beneath us...
I suppose if there's a silver lining, it's that a lot of young players are getting big time reps against a good team.

And now halftime will be just about unbearable...halftime seems to take forever when we are down or in a tight game.
