UT scores a TD, it’s the difference in being up 5 or 6. The odds of a missed XP to make that matter are way lower than the odds of missing a 2PT.
If they kick a FG, it’s the difference in being up 9 or 10. No practical difference there, assuming you actually score again.
If you have a shot at going up by a multiple of 7, you always take it, no matter what time of the game.

Just want to put the beat down on in the second half. This team has just got to get better at handling their emotions to start games. “Controlled emotion” was Kirby’s pregame message two weeks ago vs ND. He obviously knows the issues of this team.

Fromm is having a great game. He missed on that first TD attempt to Pickens (or Pickens screwed up. But from my living room it looked like fromm).
I think he didn't see wolf on a seam that he ended up checking down to herrien for no gain on third down.
Outside of that, he has been perfect. Receivers have to do better helping him out on those longer attempts. All on the hands. And in good position (woerner whiffed on a pass but it looked like Woerner was falling down for no reason).

We’re vulnerable In the secondary and don’t have a pass rush to protect against it.
