Just glad I don't have to make the decision. Eason has the better arm. Everything else leans towards Fromm.

Fromm looks great. We're 4-0. We should keep playing him.

Eason has thrown the ball 3 times this season and is coming off injury. Jury's still out. He was fine as a Tr. Fr after playing 4A Washington HS football. He would have improved this year. Both are great options to have.

Moot probably until after UT game. Eason likely won't be 100%, so best to have this discussion after next weekend.

If we win and we're 5-0, awfully hard to pull Fromm and start healthy Eason at Vanderbilt.

Then again, it is Vanderbilt. I could see Fromm starting but Kirby doing some kind of rotation thing - maybe by quarters - depending on how the game is going.

Kirby's going to start rolling Eason back in somehow. He's not going to bench the guy who won the job in spring and fall practice solely because his backup is continuing to win.

On the other hand, I think Kirby will definitely let Eason bench himself by showing any indication of being ineffective. He'll give Eason the chances but now both Kirby and Eason know that the leash can be pulled quickly.

Might be good for Eason. Going to be a heck of a competition.

You ever heard :Would've, Could've, Should've? Eason may have gotten better this season. Fromm has passed him in 4 games THIS season. Eason is in TROUBLE.

Eason won't start another game until Fromm loses at least.

Good problem to have. He won't play UT anyway IMO, so it'll be interesting to see what happens leading up to Vandy.

Yes. It's why I said Fromm should still start. I think he's been great. I just don't know why Fromm being great has to mean Eason now sucks.

CHowder posse will be here soon to educate us on why Eason is the starter and will take over for Fromm because Eason gives us the best chance to win.

Smart reiterated that you don't lose your job because of injury. But he also said that when the time comes, it will also have to do with how they look in practice. Sounds like gobbledygook for "No idea what we're going to do...just going week by week."

But if Fromm continues to win and also to perform at a high level in games and without mistakes - there just isn't any reason to not start him.

But, I would be shocked if a healthy Eason is just on the bench and never playing. That would tranlate to Kirby telling him to go ahead and transfer.

Fromm had two drops tonight and one other throw everyone was covered. He should have gone 11/12

WTF do that even mean. Sick of hearing this shite. Fromm is the better all around QB and it isn't even close.

Fromm looked real darn good tonight. I still don't think he's solidified the job yet but if he shows he can perform like this next week, then I think the competition is over.

Eason’s ceiling is higher, but right now this is Fromm’s team

Fromm's job to lose right now. He has a tough challenge on the road in his first SEC road environment (first rough road environment considering how many fans were at Notre Dame)

We'll tag this one and bump it back in a couple of weeks.

That's some serious man-boy love you've got for Fromm. Good thing he's over 18.

11/12 with the remaining incomplete being a smart throw away. He played a darn near flawless game.

Fromm is doing what he's supposed to do. He's improved every game he's played.

It might be a small thing but I don't think we've had any delays of games because of Fromm. He's getting the calls in and managing the clock well. Even tonight when he was running the clock out in the 4th Q, he had the timing down on the receiver motions, snaps, and handoffs. He looked polished and poised and didn't make any mistakes in probably the biggest game of his career to date. He did a fine job.
