I hope UGA admin and the coaches will give this one a pass. This isn't felony worthy.
Boots are bull shite. Charging for parking is bull shite. Enough fees at that school. However it played out was stupid but the felony should be brought down. Plus..if they paid $750 for a boot then frick them. That’s ridiculous. They had to be able to track the car to a student.

In the good ole days when I bartended downtown and had all my classes on north campus, I would only park downtown. Everybody knew back then Clarke had no way of really collecting on tickets. We also had one decal three people used on a downtown deck.
Now the campus/town is full of decks and it is a business. Kids today how no idea what a huge parking lot used to be on East Campus lol.

Back when UGA handed out paper tickets, if you hadn't registered your car on campus they had no way of enforcing parking violations. I could park anywhere I wanted and toss the ticket.
