According to message board rumors, Brian Herrien is either in danger of, or already has flunked out. Anyone else hearing anything?

He didn’t run at 1am on the live feed and now the rumor mill has started.....
Maybe he is going to flunk out, but I wouldn’t go believing anything not said from the athletic department.

You mean the vent, where a clueless poster that doesn't know anything asked the board this same question which is now being repeated on other boards thereby continuing the gossip chain?
Their mods already said they checked with all the sources they have and nobody has heard anything to substantiate that. Could be true, but right now there is no official reason to believe so imo.

He wasn’t heavily recruited because of high school grade issues but he’s actually well spoken and pretty bright. This would be the first I’ve heard of him not qualifying

Herrien was under recruited coming out because he entered his senior year as a likely non-qualifier.
Since that time, he has busted his arse to get eligible as a HS senior, perform well academically at UGA, never have even a hint of trouble, emerge as a vocal leader, and answer the bell every time the ball is in his hands.
The term DGD gets thrown around way too much, but Herrien certainly qualifies.
This rumor smells of bullshite to me because it doesn’t make sense. Occam’s Razor and all that.
