Weak, but not unexpected from you.

Fromm too often throws off his back foot when there is seemingly little pressure and at times he doesn't step into his throws causing those passes to not have enough zip on them.

Which is the main reason I think he comes back next year. Love him or hate him, he has regressed this year. A big reason is his newly found happy feet and not driving off his back foot when he has plenty of time to do so. Mix that with a group of WR he doesn't trust yet, a brand new OC not doing him any favors, and it results in lowered draft stock. He'll be back and I expect him to be elite next year.

Why do people think this. People were debating that the other option was better. No Dawg fan hates our QB. Though I hate some of those decisions he made throwing the ball that cost us a few games.

Geez, here we go again.EVERY QB who's ever thrown a pass has thrown off his "back foot" So freakin silly.

So are you actually trying to tell me that a guy who had the best Freshman and Sophomore years in UGA history COMPLETELY forgot the basic fundamentals on how to throw the ball and read defenses in one off season? You really want to go with that?

Has nothing to do losing Hardman,Ridley,Godwin,Hollman, Nauta and his OC?

Does it tell you anything about our talent
when our best WR and TE are grad transfers?

Holy overreaction. I simply said he's developed a case of happy feet, then went on to list the other factors contributing to it. You seem to have ignored that part of my post.

He hasn’t been missing passes lately because of a lack of talent or lack of protection or a new oc. Why do you get angry when people point that out?

Aaron Murray threw for more yards and more tds his first two seasons, and did it without the teams Fromm has had.

Fromm has improved as the season progressed, but he still misses on more throws of 20 yards+ than every elite QB other than maybe Herbert.

He also looks for specific receivers instead of just getting the ball to the open guy. I suspect part of it is having receivers who haven't built trust with him, and part is receivers not gaining the confidence that beating their man means they'll get the ball.

Notice how Pickens play picked up when he knew he was a real option. That's the first step in improving our passing game.

I'm looking for this game to be the breakout this season.

No he didn't.He threw for ZERO yards his 1st season at UGA and Fromm had a better QBR as Freshman compared to Murray as a RFreshman.

Are you really comparing a RFreshman to a Freshman? PLUS he had Bobo as an OC along with CMR as QB coach.Completley different offense and he still had a better QBR

Aaron Murray was a generous giver of the ball to the other team. I remember the terrible interceptions and the careless fumbles more than the occasional heroics.

Fromm is much better.

His first two years, definitely. His last two years consisted of potentially the best QB play Georgia has ever had.

2012 junior Murray was our best QB season.

Aaron as a junior shits all over Fromm this season.

These things are impossible to compare for a variety of reasons.

Receiver quality. Receiver experience. Oline. Offense type. # of passes thrown.
Add to that, that Murray's junior year was his 4th year in the program.

It's always fun to compare statistics, but, unfortunately statistics don't always tell the whold story.

Fromm is excellent at checking out of bad plays and into good ones. The most notable in my mind was in the Oklahoma game when he changed the play at the LOS, moved Sony Michel from his right to his left and handed the ball off to Michel for a 40-40 yard TD run.

There is more to playing QB than passing, TD, INT, etc.
Those only scratch the surface.

Our fans have a strange habit of crapping all over our players and coaches then wishing we had them back once they are gone.

See: Aaron Murray who had his yard rolled after a game.
Mike Bobo, and we can go on and on.

We love to hate our players and coaches. We also love to criticize them and pick apart every play they make or don't make. I guess it makes us feel like we are smarter and know football....because, well, we spot mistakes and can point them out.

The passes Fromm has been missing is because of neither of those things.
