With all these kids getting cleared to play right away I'm getting hopeful about D-Rob.

D-Rob would eliminate the one position group advantage Carolina has going into our game. He makes us better at every position group vs every one we outside of DL in the Auburn game.

Kind of. But that doesn’t really matter. It’s our DBs vs. their WRs and our WRs against their DBs.

Yea I know it would just make me feel better I guess, and I really want to D-Rob on a Go route and Jake or Justin just throwing it as far as possible

Even without D-Rob, we still have the position group "advantage", in my opinion.

Godwin
Hardman
Ridley
Nauta/Woerner
Swift (caught more passes than TE's did last year [I think], so I'm including him)

Nobody in the country can say they've got a better corps. There might be some individually better players, but as a group, that's about as solid as it gets.

Williams is the one guy I really would have loved to have. Small guy but he is a beast. He will be honey badger level when it's all said and done

I would love him at slot wr, but not anywhere in defense.

I'd say there are plenty who can claim a better single group. But tough to stack up against all of the receivers.

Going to be interesting to see though if Swift continues to see as much work in the passing game.

Also curious to see if Landers, Blount, and others find their way into the field in any meaningful capacity as receivers.

We're deep as hell at the position, that's for sure.

James Cook can also catch the ball out of the backfield.

Kirby said in his press conference they do not have word back yet. There are similar situations that have been granted it, but Kirby says each instance is handled differently and independent. DRob will practice until they hear from the NCAA, which he says will be when they “get to it.”

Any word yet? I have heard it is a good bet he plays this year.

Bama has better receiving corps now than our Dawgs - next year, different story but for now...

Robertson's name is DEMETRIS. Drob hasn't earned any demerits with UGA. I'm hoping that he earns many merits.

His brothers Detentions Robertson and Suspensions Robertson are supposed to be even more impressive.

There’s been no hints one way or the other. People assuming he plays because of some other similar situations, but each case is different and no one is even talking about exactly what the request is for. Just sit tight and you will hear it from Kirby as soon as he knows

After hearing all the hoopla about Matt Landers last year, does anyone know if he is still getting the same hype in camp? The talk last year reminded me of the talk we had when Knowshon was redshirted and tearing up the scout team back in like 2007.
