We can't close out games and it's killer. Free throw shooting and turnovers are going to kill us all season in games where we're up, but it's still close. Just a really frustrating performance and it cost us what would have been a quality win.

What is the most disappointing for me is that we lost it with our veteran guard play. Mann was given the opportunity (again and again and again) to win it and (again and again and again) he ended up being LSU's best player.

Also what the hell was Thornton thinking with that foul at the end? We were up by three, just let the guy get the layup and pray that we can knock down a free throw. We completely deserved to lose that game because of stupid shite like that.

And you're not even exaggerating. Mann really had to work hard (after regulation) to make sure LSU won that turd.

I turned that mess off. Just have tried so many times to get into UGA basketball. I refuse to be happy with the occasional upset. 8 points up with 2:00 to go and you blow it! Not impressed with Fox and his efforts.

This is Fox's year. If he can't get us to the tourney with the returning talent he's got after basically taking second in the conference last year, and with a great OOC start that we've had --- I'm over him. He still isn't recruiting as well as he needs to, so if he can't coach this team up ... CYA.

last 2 minutes up 9, it takes a LOT of major mistakes for a team to have a shot to get back in it. We gave it to them with the following:
Mann with multiple turnovers
Mann 2 missed FT
Thornton fouling a driver up 3
our last second shot to win was a contested 3 by our 5'10 guard who was 0-7 tonight
giving up several open 3 looks for their best 2 shooters
Thornton inexplicably driving to the basket and bricking a circus shot with 25 seconds on the shot clock.
Take away probably any 1 of those mistakes and we win. Just unreal.
