Regular season is halfway done.... it's hard to contain the excitement SO FAR.

My personal concerns

1. I like Stet, he brings a great dimension to the offense with his legs but I had horrible flashbacks during the Arkansas game of balls being batted down.
2. Our defense is nasty, I think we all agree. But I've seen quite a few of our guys stand over the other one when they've made a big play. I really hope that a penalty doesn't come from that at a VERY bad time.
3. Hope they don't take anyone for granted. Get past UK and get some rest. FL and, believe it or not, UT will be a fight.

Regardless... let's enjoy the ride (so far)

Injuries, and I still see the UGA pass defense as being a possible issue.

Since just posted a thread..

Big rush plays (1 rush over 30 yards).

Agree ..Pod missing easy kicks.

Consistency in 3rd down conversion (5-13 at AU).

Complaining about big runs when we are hitting 2 or 3 40+ passes a week. I just don't get it.

Believe we are 70th in big pass plays..not surprising given mop up time and balanced offense.

Not complaining as much as surprised given our our line and backs.

Pleasantly surprised at passing given how many guys we are still missing.

Tbh complaining about anything so far this year feels somehow wrong to me. I know you guys are just listing concerns and not complaining but considering the injuries, weird QB situation, and stronger schedule than we anticipated and we are really really really good

That is misleading, though. Big plays? Not such a big deal in the light of things.

Injuries are my biggest concern. We have played extremely well with our depth but we are a few more big injuries away from being exploitable. If we can make it through this week and get some more guys healthy, I’d feel better about closing out this season the right way.

We lead the SEC in yards per attempt in the first half.

We also lead in QB efficiency rating and plays over 25+ yards.

My only concerns are health related.

As far as play goes, Kirby has changed the personality of the offense to suit the team and game plan for each.

I am fine with the amount of yards, receptions and everything else.

Health issues and managing expectations. Hope the players keep focus and not fall into media frenzy and hype.

Which is weird as we're the number 2 pass defense in the country and that's our "weak spot".

I think our DB's have played pretty damn well considering the preseason concerns and hand-wringing. Safety Christopher Smith going out in Auburn game is concerning, he was playing at a high level. I hope it's minor and we can get him back on the field post-haste. What's Christopher Smith's status?

Don’t get me wrong, I think our defensive backs are doing a great job, but it’s hard to complete a pass when the QB rarely has time to actually throw the ball.

He dislocated his shoulder. They won't know until after practice Tuesday.
