Ranked in the top 10, media is talking about us again, I was wildly optimistic last night after the game, and now I have the horrible feeling that we're going to shite the bed horribly in Knoxville. I know it's under a new staff, but after 15 years, I can't shake the feeling.

It is a real illness. I feel it also. I hope to be cured on Sat.

People that think past seasons' results affect the current season's results are pretty dumb.

Unfortunately it can only be cured through a Hail Mary UGA win in the last few seconds in Neyland Stadium.

Or better yet, beat the shite out of the Vols in their own stadium.

I want to beat the Vols worse than we did the Faux Bulldogs. I want those miserable Sister-Kissers so apoplectic with despair and rage that they burn their own goddamned stadium to the ground, using Lyle as kindling.

I'm in the same boat. Maybe if we make it a season or two without losing to somebody we shouldn't, we'll feel better.

How about another flea flicker to open the game... No one would expect it. Chaney on the next level...

When it comes to UT and UF, It will take a 4-5 year win streak against both to get me to not expect the worst from a UGA team.

Yeah totally. But think back to that last play. A CMR team lets them score. We said "nah frick that"

From beginning to end, I can't think of the last time we dominated like that.

Do I think past seasons play a role in the current season? 99% of the time, no (I do think that at times, teams can press too much in trying to break a streak such is UK v UF). However, year in and year out when you're used to your team constantly shitting the bed against an opponent they should absolutely destroy, it does something to your psyche.

It's the same reason we always beat Auburn.

It's cool. You think this team of different players and coaches will "shite the bed" because a totally different team did in the past. That's fine. You are entitled to your opinion. It just means you are dumb and lack reason.

Doesn't mean you are dumb. Just traumatized. Hence, PTSD.

No, I think we win. But the psychological trauma endured for so many years sits in the pit of your stomach and just says "you know they're going to blow it".

Last night was a great win and momentum builder which I think we carry to Knoxville. I'm more worried about getting out of there with no injuries.

Hello, my name is Squatchdawg....and I have CMRPTSD.

The first time I remember developing symptoms was Immediately after the WV Sugar Bowl. Then I seem to remember being scared every year we played SC because no matter how bad they sucked - we would never be ready and lose. We would split with TN and could rarely beat FL regardless of how much better we were the week before.

Then there were two night games that still give me nightmares - the Clowny show at SC and the infamous Bama blackout. I'm triggered by feeling positive about the Dawgs or getting excited about big games thinking we may actually be ready to play hard.

My name is Squatchdawg and I have CMRPTSD.
