247Sports spoke to sources close to Everett Golson that indicated the Notre Dame transfer is most likely to end up at South Carolina or Georgia. The source said that Golson wants to play his final year of eligibility close to home, as Golson hails from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He'll prolly be SCe's.....

Because Golson was suspended during the 2013 season, for what he called “poor academic judgement,” whichever school he chooses would have to submit a waiver to the league office. SEC bylaw 14.1.15.1, part d, clarifies the conference’s rules for graduate student exceptions: They may receive financial aid, practice and compete … so long as “the student-athlete has not been subject to official university or athletics department disciplinary action at any time during enrollment at any previous collegiate institution.”

The QB battle will be even more interesting if that happens

I'd take him as long as he never plays.

We need to sign him so he can't go to SC and figure out a way to beat us

There would be no battle. We would have our starter. And it will be glorious.

You know they would still say "battle". And coach Richt wouldn't have to feel so bad for starting Eason next year if Ramsey never plays this year.

NO, GOLSON IS COMING AND WE ARE GOING TO SCORE SO MANY frickING POINTS. Ramsey and Bauta will be excellent at holding clip boards. Park can spike the gatorade.

Golson to SCe where he has a guaranteed job. He doesn't at UGA. That and the academic issues = USCe.

He would be the starter in all likelihood

There is absolutely no fathomable way anyone player on the current roster would beat our Golson. None.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. We'd be instant playoff contenders, and then we wouldnt' have the unpleasant mess of what to do with a Freshman eason and a junior ramsey come '16.

Go ahead and scoop up an SEC title in '15, then run off 3 or 4 nattys after that.

The big part of this is it would clear the way for Jacob Eason to come in and win the job year one. Golson would be one-and-done and there would be no argument concerning Eason displacing a proven starter from the previous season.....

I really wish this thread wasn't started, because now I'm thinking about this whole season with EG at QB and how awesome it'll be. Then I'm just going to get pissed off when he doesnt' come here.
