Lahwdy I hope so!

quote:

“I think we’re going to do the old Burt Reynolds’ Longest Yard and not block and let (Aaron Murray) throw it as hard as he can at him (Clowney),” Bobo said, laughing. “We’ve got to realize he’s going to make some plays. We’ll do some things to try to discourage him. Maybe he’ll change his mind, think he needs to sit out and turn pro.

“I think our guys are eager to play that game [South Carolina],” Bobo said. “We were obviously embarrassed that game and got thoroughly whipped by that defense. We’ll be ready for that game. I promise you.”

Guess Bobo doesn't Fear the Clowney as much as Aaron Murray does...doesn't need to go 0-4 vs the Cocks.

Almost anything would be an improvement after that last debacle.

no shite. i honestly thought i'd never be angrier with the team, especially the coaching staff, after UCF, then boise but that USCe game literally was unbearable. i wanted to pull the same thing that oregon fan did a few years ago when he emailed chip kelly asking for a refund for all he spent driving to Boise to watch Oregon disgrace itself. instead i just punched a concrete wall in the brice and sprained my wrist for the whole season cause i'm irrational

I very rarely will turn a TV off mid-game and go to bed, but I put on my old man pants, didn't say a word, and turned my back on the team that night. Haven't been that pissed off since the 08 Bama game.

you had every right to. we were gonna leave but for some reason when i get really mad i refuse to leave or change the channel and instead i just let my bitterness and rage build. and that's why i couldn't open doors with my right hand for a few weeks. we ended up leaving with about 4 min or so left when the team had looked like they had withdrawn their 15% effort for more of a lets get the frick out of columbia MO

I hear both of you on this one. I started out at the Flying J watching it in the lounge. Then the worse it got the louder this really obnoxious fat trucker with horrid teeth would laugh and look over at me and smile and hold his hands up. I decided after the first quarter that that game was one I would suffer alone, so I went to my frickin truck and listened to the shitty end on the radio.

I think I have only stopped watching a UGA game at halftime like 3 times, and that was one of them. I turned it off and didnt look at any message boards or really watch much sports TV for a few days. Normally I can take a loss pretty well, but not getting absolutely thumped like that.

it wasn't until sanders commings scooped up that fumble vs UF that my faith in georgia football was restored. after USCe i wanted scorched earth and then when we did such a slack arse job in lexington i was ready to light the fires myself

Maybe this is just me, but throwing the ball at Clowney just doesn't seem like the wisest decision.

As said above already, it worked great against Jarvis Jones in the SECC.

Sounds like they are going to chop block him, high/low.

If he is going to jump over the cut block as illustrated in OP, then you have no choice but to send one high and send one low. The refs can't call it unless they both hit him at the same time.

ETA, that looks like Marshall going low. It needs to be Theus, if he is still left tackle, going low and Marshall going high. I'm sure that is the kind of thing Bobo is talking about. I hope. John Krease style. Take him out. Sweep the leg.

Jarvis got abused on some double teams. but he's a pass rusher. he's not built to take on double teams run right at him (he can handle them in a pass rush, though)

I think Michigan would advise against this...
