His offense is out of date. Maybe recruiting coordinator.

Good grief. What's the attraction with UGA fans for Bobo. His offensive style worked fine once upon a time but times have changed.

Definitely not as an OC. Perhaps he was fired from Auburn for a reason? I was never impressed with him when he was our OC.

Maybe he can have a similar role as Muschamp or be a recruiter.

But he did do that. Kind of a lot. With Carlton Thomas.

He did a lot of great things too, but some of those third and long calls will always be head-scratchers.

Also called a lot of bubble screens that rarely worked on 3rd and 20.

No he didn't.

So with all his record breaking years as OC and QB development THIS really stands out to you?

Let them spew. Until Muschamp came back, he was a traitorous loser poison cancer hothead. Now he's back on staff, and he's a good boy again. The same thing would happen with Bobo. It's not worth arguing with the simpletons on this one.

I guess it's all relative. I saw it more than I would've liked so it seemed like a lot to me.

Just curious exactly what is a good play on 3rd and 20?

If you look at it objectively it’s hard to gage Bobo.

He’s obviously good at coaching QBs. Stafford and Murray were great in their prime. Also, he did this with sub par O Lines because him and Richt apparently didn’t think those were important. Despite that he still had impressive offenses.

But then he also managed to lose against shitty SC teams with Gurley and Murray. I don’t think I’d let him near my offense today.

What are you talking about? He fricking LIT IT UP at Colorado State, and I'm pretty sure SC and Auburn parted company with him because he was just too good.

Which year was the issue with offense?

How'd the offense do in '15 after he left?

The only year the offense was the issue with SC was 2012 and had no effect with season in the long run
BTW all those issues in that game were due to pass protection.

Something vertical and past the sticks instead of something horizontal that goes for a damn 3 yard gain might be a better decision.

Listen I came to love Mike Bobo. I converted from calling him Bobo the Clown to singing his praises. I liked that you could almost count on him testing the secondary deep early in the game on a first down. And his version of the Multiple-I formation offense was one of best I've ever seen run. But he definitely took some time to grow into a competent OC.

With that said I still have not forgiven him for calling draw plays clearly designed for DJ Shockley with Joe T vs. UF in 2005. Those were drive killers and help to cost us a huge game with BCS implications that year. So there is a little truth in jest with the comment I quoted you on.
