When you are reaching a new market, you always want to be in your most recognizable form..
I remember when we played UF in black helmets they had to remind the crowd we weren't grambling.

Since you just want to play the pfrickin football game, why not get rid of all the "gimmicks?" Get rid of the video boards, the music, the band, the cheerleaders, the mascots, etc. All of those things have the same effect on the outcome of the game as the color of a jersey does.

Nah, since everyone loves the black so much, just go full bore. Drop the "Bulldogs" name, license the name "All Blacks" from New Zealand's national Rugby team, wear black pants and black jerseys every game. Only way to put an end to the debate.

Why? We don't need it to bring energy to big games. Break out the gimmicks on the fun, lower excitement matchups. Do it vs UT or something.
