I’m with you and DDA. Between talking heads and all the chuckle fricks in our fan base thinking our team is impervious i get the uneasy feeling.

There will be an epic melt when Georgia is down in in a battle at half, I’m sure of it.

In terms of winning or losing, there isn't a reasonable concern. I hope that UGA plays great and that there are no big injuries on either side. I hope that the visitors are treated well. I hope that the officials are on their game. I hope that the recruits have a lot of fun. I hope that UGA covers the spread.

Yeah, and some of our team members were spouting off on twitter before the game how we should have been top four. Then they went out and crapped the bed against Texas.

It's Notre Dame - if God would have wanted you to have tickets, he'd have miracled your arse some tickets.

So you don’t think GA’s the better team?

"So you don’t think GA’s the better team?"

Aside from fixed games, there are two reasons a team wins: (1) they're better; (2) they're luckier.

It's the second factor that's the concern, because that is impossible to control or predict.

At least attribute the quote properly:

Here’s how I see those “slow starts” against relatively bad teams.

It’s a high energy sport, neither team has the advantage of being more “pumped up” than the next. Coaches and fans can edge that but ultimately it’s about the players mentality. A team who plays in a shite league could very well be way more pumped than the 5* team they’re going to play even at their stadiums.

You see it all the time. Alabama, Auburn, UGA, LSU, Ohio state, etc all start slow against 2*-3* teams sometimes.

If it’s a neutral attitude and both players are playing their best games, yes the UGA should roll Murray state for 4 quarters no doubt.

But let me tell you a 3* athlete can come out and punch the shite out of a 5* for a quarter before wearing down, and it happens all the time. If that no name team is still in the game going into the 3rd quarter then your team is playing like shite and super unmotivated.

I truly think a team of jacked on energy and passion 2* and 3* players can keep up with any team in the country for a quarter before wearing down.

Earlier, I had no concerns but now I've manufactured a reason for worry.

All eight of CBS's experts picked us to beat the 13.5 point spread suggesting that the spread should have been larger.

Now the line has moved to 14.5. If the vast majority of bettors were induced to pick UGA, Vegas will make a killing if we lose. I hope nothing fishy is in the works.

I don't have CMRPTSD. I simply can't trust officiating
