Hiring Creen was a good try - he recruited well too. Obviously he's not much of a game-time coach.

If Creen is not the man, then let's try someone else.

Meanwhile, let's not blame the refs for our poor performance. Readers laugh at us when we 'blame the refs', and doing that aligns us with the lower life forms like auburn and tennessee.

As crazy as it sounds, they can do worse than Gus ... Much worse.

Yep, Auburn beat Bama and gave LSU all they could stand in a close contest. Gus is a dangerous coach when he has the right QB for his system.

And there goes another lead. Honest question. Bringing ant was to show Georgia basketball is cool and can do things if you buy in. Are we hurting ourselves at this point by saying we seem unable to do things even with talent and resources?

I’ve said before that I think next year will be a better team for us. Look at how many freshmen are playing major minutes right now.

That’s super encouraging.

The actual coaching definitely leaves some stuff to be desired though.

8 turnovers, 1-10, and 4 points at the 10 minute mark....at home against sc.

So um what the actual hell? Is he just that bad at Xs and Os? What level of intoxication do you have to be at to achieve this?

This is actually a case of an elite recruiter that can't coach....

I mean there’s lack of technical coaching and then there’s complete lack of effort by the players which, to me, is even more damning of the people in charge. These guys just don’t give a shite and I’m not so sure Edwards hasn’t lost a draft spot or two after this season

You've lost your mind if you think he's gone after 2 years.

Crean is coaching for the buyout. Why coach for an extra 3 years when you can get in a lump sum for no extra work?

Stricklin went 4 straight years without even a winning record or finishing higher than 5th in the division and he was retained, and he had less of a track record than crean does.

It amazes me sometimes how reactionary our fanbase is, and especially towards basketball. We could literally lose out this season and crean will still be back, as he should be.

I understand it is a small sample size, but he is doing extraordinarily less with more. The other alarming thing is the team appears to be regressing.

Please explain this comment. How does he have "more".

Fox had Maten who was all conference. Who does Crean have even as remotely productive? Based on performance.
