Never been to Auburn, but every UT fan I encountered when I went to Knox in 15 was surprisingly very hospitable. Was a big win for them too. They were insanely loud at times.

I had more friends at auburn so I had more fun there but I’d say Knoxville was a better experience. To be honest, though, neither are notable trips. Both kind of blow. Auburn has like 2-3 bars and Knoxville is ugly as sin and been under construction for what seems like 28 years

i went to auburn during cam's year and it was a bit of a high school reunion with all the uga/auburn friends in town for the game. actually saw cam at sky bar afterwards. did everything fun you could possibly do in auburn.

i still like knoxville better. bar hopped in knoxville before the game, bar hopped again afterwards. just had a good time the whole damn day. i hate auburn

Knoxville is a much better city, but if you're under 25 and single gone ahead to Auburn.

Good point chillmonster. As I mentioned we went back when I was in school at UGA in the early 90's. It was awesome being a single co-ed at Auburn. There were tons of combined UGA/AU tailgating events.

I prefer the mountains to the beach; I dang sure prefer them over eastern Alabama.

Knoxville, at least you have the smokies in the background. Auburn is just pure shite all around.

Not a lot of difference although Jordan Hare is better than the erector set in Knoxville....they have probably improved the stadium in Knoxville since the late 90's when I was there last but back then it was similar to Grant Field without the creature comforts....great thing about both is you can take a T shirt and a $5 bill and not have to change either one outside of the state of Georgia!

I have really enjoyed trips to both places, but Knoxville is much more unique than Auburn. I can't think of one thing particularly memorable or special about Auburn that I haven't seen/experienced elsewhere.

Tennessee by far. Frick Auburn and their trailer park campus and dead trees.

They have not. You can't put lipstick on a pig.

I can’t imagine anything worse than going to Auburn. I’d rather watch UGA play them on my phone than go back to Auburn.

I have a good friend who went to Auburn. He used to invite me to go there for games. I never went.
